Why stay here

Overview

Kagurazaka's restaurant streets and Tokyo Dome City are the main places to visit around Iidabashi and Suidobashi stations. Iidabashi has more subway lines; Suidobashi is closer to the Dome complex.

Main places

Kagurazaka's narrow lanes contain traditional Japanese restaurants alongside French restaurants and cafes. Walk uphill from Iidabashi to explore the side streets around Zenkokuji Temple, then continue farther into the neighborhood for Akagi Shrine. You can combine a walk here with lunch or dinner.

Toward Suidobashi, Tokyo Dome City has amusement rides, shops, and restaurants around the stadium. At nearby Koishikawa Korakuen Gardens, paths circle a pond, with views inspired by landscapes in Japan and China. The garden has two entrances.

Stations and access

Iidabashi Station and Suidobashi Station both have JR Chuo-Sobu local trains toward Shinjuku and Ochanomizu. At Iidabashi, the Tozai Line provides a direct route to Otemachi and Nihombashi, while the Yurakucho, Namboku, and Oedo lines add other subway connections. Suidobashi has the Mita Line for Otemachi and Hibiya.

For Tokyo Dome City, use JR Suidobashi's West Exit or Mita Line Exit A2. These are different entrances, so match the exit to the train you'll take.

Good to know

Choose the garden gate before choosing the station. Koishikawa Korakuen's West Gate is reached from Iidabashi, while its East Gate can be reached from JR Suidobashi or Korakuen Station.
