Transport access and hotel guide

Overview

Tokyo Dome and Kagurazaka are both within walking distance of Via Inn Iidabashi Korakuen in the Tokyo-Iidabashi / Suidobashi area. The hotel has non-smoking rooms and serves breakfast on the tenth floor, with a supermarket next door for everyday shopping. Standard rooms are small, so compare the larger twins if you're sharing with luggage.

Rooms

Single rooms measure 13 square metres and have a 140-centimetre-wide bed that can be shared by two guests. Doubles and standard twins are both 16 square metres. Doubles have one 160-centimetre-wide bed, while twins have two narrower beds. The Deluxe Single is also 16 square metres, with a larger work area and a 140-centimetre-wide bed.

The 22-square-metre Deluxe Twin has more floor space than a standard twin, along with a bathroom separate from the toilet. For three guests, the accessible Universal Room measures 29.5 square metres and uses an extra bed for the third person. Book that category specifically if you're traveling as a group of three; the other main room types accommodate no more than two guests.

Facilities

Paid washer-dryers on the tenth floor dispense detergent automatically, so you won't need to bring your own. The adjacent Inageya supermarket is convenient for picking up snacks and drinks.

The front desk is staffed around the clock. A women-only Be-Lounge on the tenth floor has beauty and relaxation appliances. All guest rooms are non-smoking, with a smoking booth available on the first floor.

Dining

A paid breakfast buffet is served on the tenth floor from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, with last entry at 9:30 AM. Japanese and Western choices include rice dishes, bread baked on site, and salads, while coffee is made with Ogawa Coffee beans. Check whether breakfast is included in your room rate.

For meals outside the hotel, Kagurazaka has Japanese restaurants, French dining, and cafes along its main street and smaller lanes.

Location and transport

Iidabashi Station is about five minutes away on foot from subway Exit B1, or six minutes from the JR East Exit. These times are measured to the exits, so allow extra time to reach the platforms.

JR Chuo-Sobu local trains run directly to Shinjuku and Akihabara. The Tozai Line connects Iidabashi with Otemachi and Nihombashi, giving you another direct route across central Tokyo.

Airport access

From Haneda Airport, take a Keikyu service that continues onto the Toei Asakusa Line to Nihombashi, then change to the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line for Iidabashi. Check the train's destination before boarding, since not every service follows this route.

A similar route is available from Narita Airport. Take a Keisei Access Express service that continues onto the Asakusa Line, then change to the Tozai Line at Nihombashi. This is the Access Express, not the Skyliner. Both airport journeys require a transfer and a final walk to the hotel.

Why stay here

You can return on foot after a Tokyo Dome event or dinner in Kagurazaka, then use JR and subway trains for sightseeing elsewhere the next day. The main compromise is room size, especially if two people are sharing a standard room.

Koishikawa Korakuen has a walking circuit around its central pond. Use the West Gate when approaching from Iidabashi, and allow time to explore the garden as part of a day in the neighborhood.

Good to know

Standard check-in begins at 3:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM, although some reservations have different times. Luggage storage is available on arrival and departure days, provided it is collected the same day.
