Overview

Tokyo Dome is within walking distance of Hotel Metropolitan Edmont, which is located between Iidabashi and Suidobashi stations. Its two buildings have different room layouts, from smaller doubles to family rooms that accommodate five people.

Rooms

In the Main Building, Edmont Standard rooms measure 18 square metres, while Superior Doubles provide 26 square metres. East Wing Twins have 28 square metres and can accommodate a third guest with an extra bed. Compare both the category and the building when booking, as the floor area and sleeping arrangements vary.

East Wing Family rooms provide 37 square metres for up to five guests, with extra beds for additional guests. The bath and toilet are separate. These rooms allow a larger family or group to stay together, but five-person occupancy doesn't mean five permanent beds. All guestrooms are non-smoking.

Facilities

The Main Building's fourth floor has a 24-hour gym and a coin-operated Laundry Lounge. Additional laundry machines are on the East Wing's 12th and 15th floors, and both buildings have shared microwaves on the fourth floor.

Dining

Beltempo, on the East Wing's first floor, serves a Japanese and Western breakfast buffet from 6:30am to 10am. Cooked-to-order omelets and pastries from the hotel bakery are among the options. Continental and American set breakfasts are available until 11am, after the buffet closes.

The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner. Check whether breakfast is included in your room rate.

Location and transport

Iidabashi Station is about two minutes away via Exit A5 on the Tozai Line, which provides direct subway service to Otemachi and Nihombashi. The JR East Exit is farther away at about five minutes on foot. Iidabashi's other subway lines are reached through Exit A2, also about five minutes from the hotel.

The JR West Exit of Suidobashi Station is another five-minute walk away. Both JR stations serve Chuo-Sobu local trains toward Shinjuku and Ochanomizu. Use the walking time for your line, not just the nearest entrance with the same station name.

Airport access

The hotel doesn't have a direct limousine bus to Haneda or Narita Airport. If you prefer an airport bus, direct Narita services stop at Tokyo Dome Hotel, which is a different hotel. You'll still need to travel between that stop and Hotel Metropolitan Edmont.

Why stay here

After a visit to Tokyo Dome, you can return to the hotel on foot and use the nearby JR and subway trains for sightseeing elsewhere in Tokyo. Groups should compare the five-person family rooms with the cost and convenience of booking separate rooms.

Nearby, you can walk through Kagurazaka's restaurant lanes or follow the paths around the landscaped pond at Koishikawa Korakuen Gardens. Either can be part of a day spent exploring the neighborhood.
