Suidobashi Station

Tokyo Dome City is close to Suidobashi Station, with JR local trains to Shinjuku and the Mita Line for Otemachi and Hibiya.

What this station is useful for

Overview

Tokyo Dome City draws many visitors to Suidobashi Station, which is served by JR Chuo-Sobu local trains and the Toei Mita Line. The JR and subway entrances are separate, so check the operator as well as the station name when planning your route.

For Kagurazaka's restaurant streets, neighboring Iidabashi Station provides another option.

Lines and connections

JR local trains run west toward Shinjuku and east toward Ochanomizu. The Mita Line provides direct subway service to Otemachi and Hibiya, so the better operator depends on where you're going next. Neither service is a Shinkansen route.

Station area

The main access points for Tokyo Dome City are JR Suidobashi's West Exit and Mita Line Exit A2. Check the exit for your line. A walking route from the JR gate won't be the same as one from the subway entrance.

Beyond the stadium, the Dome complex has amusement rides, restaurants, and shops. Check the venue map for the specific building you're visiting.

What's nearby

Koishikawa Korakuen Gardens can be reached through its East Gate from JR Suidobashi. Inside, paths circle the pond through scenery inspired by Japanese and Chinese landscapes. Iidabashi is an alternative arrival station for the West Gate.

Good to know

Hotel Metropolitan Edmont is about five minutes on foot from the JR West Exit. That walking time applies to the JR side, not the Mita Line entrance. Keep the operator in mind when comparing nearby hotels or arriving with luggage.
