Overview
Tokyo Akasaka Station is the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line station for the Akasaka district in central Minato. It is the most direct station for many hotels, restaurants, offices, and side streets in Akasaka itself.
Lines and connections
The station is served by the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line as C06. Trains run toward Yoyogi-uehara in one direction and Kita-ayase in the other, with useful central Tokyo links through stations such as Omotesando, Hibiya, Otemachi, and Kokkai-gijidomae.
Station area
Use Tokyo Akasaka Station when the destination is inside the Akasaka district rather than on the larger Nagatacho or Tameike-sanno side. Akasaka-mitsuke Station and Tameike-sanno Station are close enough to matter for some hotels, but they serve different subway lines.
Good to know
There is also a Fukuoka subway station with the same common English name. For Tokyo hotels, confirm that the route search is using Tokyo Metro's Chiyoda Line station, not the Fukuoka City Subway station.
