Overview
Osaki Station is where the Rinkai Line meets JR services in southern Tokyo. Trains head toward Odaiba and Tokyo Big Sight, as well as the shopping and entertainment districts of western Tokyo. The station also serves the offices, hotels, and commercial complexes of Tokyo-Osaki.
Lines and connections
Take the Yamanote Line for Shibuya and Shinjuku, or travel one stop to Shinagawa Station. Shinagawa is the interchange for the Tokaido Shinkansen. Bullet trains don't stop at Osaki.
The Rinkai Line serves Tokyo Teleport for Odaiba and Kokusai-tenjijo for Tokyo Big Sight before continuing to Shin-kiba. Some trains run through onto the JR Saikyo Line, providing direct service from the bay area to Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro without a change at Osaki.
For Yokohama, take a southbound Shonan-Shinjuku Line train. Saikyo Line services also continue north toward Omiya and Kawagoe, so check the line and destination before boarding rather than assuming every JR train follows the same route.
