What this station is useful for

Overview

Kokusai-tenjijo Station serves Tokyo Big Sight and the southern side of Tokyo-Ariake on the Rinkai Line. Beside it, Ariake Station gives event visitors and nearby hotel guests the option of continuing by Yurikamome.

Most visitors come for an event. The main advantage is the direct ride from western Tokyo: many trains continue onto the JR Saikyo Line, connecting Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro without a change.

Lines and connections

Kokusai-tenjijo is R03 on the Rinkai Line. Westbound trains serve Tokyo Teleport, Tennozu Isle, Oimachi, and Osaki, with many continuing directly onto the Saikyo Line. Eastbound trains run to Shin-kiba, where passengers can change to the JR Keiyo Line for Maihama and Tokyo Disney Resort.

Nearby Ariake Station is the transfer point for the Yurikamome. Its elevated waterfront route serves Odaiba, Shiodome, Shimbashi, Toyosu, and the market side of the bay.

Airport access

The public Airport Limousine bus stop named for Kokusai-tenjijo Station and DoubleTree by Hilton Tokyo Ariake has direct services to and from Haneda Airport. This is scheduled public transport, not a hotel shuttle, and its timetable won't suit every flight.

Reaching Haneda by rail requires a transfer. Narita Airport generally involves a longer journey with rail or bus transfers. Check current schedules before planning around an early departure or late arrival.

Station area

Broad plazas and event-oriented streets surround the station rather than a compact downtown neighborhood. Tokyo Big Sight is to the south, while hotels, Ariake Garden, Tokyo Garden Theater, and arena venues extend north through the wider district.

DoubleTree by Hilton Tokyo Ariake is about one minute away. The short walk is particularly helpful after a late event or when arriving with luggage, compared with staying elsewhere in central Tokyo.

What's nearby

Tokyo Big Sight is the principal landmark, hosting exhibitions, conventions, and public events throughout the year. Ariake Garden provides shopping and dining, while Tokyo Garden Theater, Ariake Arena, and Ariake Coliseum host concerts and sports.

Good to know

The route choice is straightforward. Use Kokusai-tenjijo for the direct Rinkai and Saikyo Line corridor toward western Tokyo, or cross to Ariake when the Yurikamome better serves your destination.
