Transport access and hotel guide

Overview

New Otani Inn Tokyo is in Osaki New City, with a pedestrian bridge to Osaki Station. From the North Ticket Gate and East Exit, the walk takes about a minute. Reception is on the third floor, level with the connection into the shopping complex.

Rooms

Single rooms start at 15 square metres, while many twin and double categories measure 23 square metres. The smaller rooms have a 140-centimetre-wide bed; twin rooms give two guests separate beds and more floor space.

For four guests sharing one room, the 30-square-metre Executive Deluxe category has a four-bed layout. Connecting Executive rooms can accommodate up to six people across two rooms.

The 46-square-metre Premium Heartful room is designed for wheelchair users, with more bathroom space and adjustable electric beds. It faces the Meguro River from the tenth floor. If you're booking for specific access needs, ask about this room rather than assuming every category has the same layout.

Facilities

Coin-operated laundry is available on the fourth floor. The machines have built-in detergent, English-language controls, and PIN locks.

LIFE supermarket is on the first floor of Osaki New City, providing groceries and takeaway food for meals outside the hotel restaurant.

Dining

Breakfast at Funachaya starts at 6:30am, with Japanese and Western choices. Breads change from day to day, while rice with Japanese side dishes provides an alternative to a pastry breakfast. You can take your coffee back to the room.

Funachaya also serves lunch and dinner, with Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes. The Lounge serves tea in the afternoon and drinks in the evening.

Location and transport

Yamanote Line trains run directly to Shibuya and Shinjuku. In the other direction, Shinagawa Station is one stop away for the Tokaido Shinkansen.

For the bay area, take the Rinkai Line. Use Tokyo Teleport for Odaiba and Kokusai-tenjijo for Tokyo Big Sight. For a day in Yokohama, take a southbound Shonan-Shinjuku Line train from Osaki without changing.

Airport access

From Haneda Airport, take Keikyu to Shinagawa and change to the Yamanote Line for Osaki. From Narita Airport, take the Narita Express to Shinagawa, followed by the same one-stop Yamanote journey. Both routes require a change at Shinagawa.

Why stay here

Four-person rooms and connecting options allow groups to stay together near trains serving both western Tokyo and the bay area.

Around Tokyo-Osaki, the Meguro River has walking paths and spring cherry blossoms. Nearby Gate City Ohsaki adds restaurants, a five-storey atrium, and garden seating for a break between outings.
