Overview
Beneath the eastern side of Tokyo-Nihonbashi, Suitengumae Station is directly connected to Royal Park Hotel and stands beside Tokyo City Air Terminal, better known as T-CAT. The station is Z10 on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line.
An official transfer connection to Ningyocho Station adds the Hibiya and Toei Asakusa lines. That gives this otherwise small station, with a single pair of Hanzomon Line platforms, a wider role in central Tokyo travel and airport journeys.
Lines and connections
Westbound Hanzomon Line trains travel through Mitsukoshimae and Otemachi before continuing toward Kudanshita, Aoyama-itchome, and Shibuya. Eastbound trains serve Kiyosumi-shirakawa, Kinshicho, and Oshiage, where some services continue beyond the Tokyo Metro network.
Follow the signs for Ningyocho when the Hibiya or Toei Asakusa line better matches your route. The Hibiya Line links Ginza and Roppongi with Akihabara and Ueno, while the Asakusa Line runs through Nihombashi and Shimbashi to the airport rail networks.
Airport access
T-CAT is adjacent to the station and offers airport limousine buses to Haneda and Narita. Royal Park Hotel has a second-floor walkway into the bus complex, while Suitengumae's exits serve the same block. Published standard journey times are about 25 minutes to Haneda and 55 minutes to Narita, although road traffic can affect both trips.
The bus stop isn't on the subway platforms. Check the live timetable and boarding point before departure, particularly for an early flight or when traveling with large luggage.
Station area
The station lies beneath Nihonbashi Kakigara-cho, at the edge of Ningyocho and Hakozaki. Royal Park Hotel is directly connected, T-CAT is next door, and Suitengu Shrine is just outside the immediate station area.
This is a quieter, more local part of Nihonbashi than the department-store blocks around Mitsukoshimae. Offices and transport facilities share the streets with older shops, restaurants, and lanes leading into Ningyocho.
What's nearby
Royal Park Hotel is the clearest hotel landmark. Suitengu Shrine is nearby, while Ningyocho's Amazake Yokocho, long-established food shops, and Meijiza Theater lie within the wider neighborhood.
The Hanzomon Line also provides direct subway routes to the Muromachi side of Nihonbashi, Otemachi, and the Tokyo Skytree area. For old-town streets and local food, continue on foot toward Ningyocho rather than treating Suitengumae only as an airport-bus stop.
Good to know
Suitengumae and Ningyocho have different names but form an official transfer connection. Suitengumae serves the Hanzomon Line and connects directly to Royal Park Hotel; Ningyocho serves the Hibiya and Toei Asakusa lines, reached by walking through the connecting passages.
Airport buses depart from T-CAT, not from the hotel driveway or subway concourse. Allow time to find the correct bus floor, and check road conditions again before leaving.
