Roppongi-itchome Station

Overview

Roppongi-itchome Station serves eastern Roppongi on the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line. It is separate from Roppongi Station, which is served by the Hibiya and Oedo lines, so check the full station name when planning a hotel route or meeting point.

Exit 4 connects directly to Azabudai Hills. From here, you can reach the complex's shops, restaurants, and cultural venues, along with nearby offices and accommodation.

Lines and connections

The station is N05 on the Namboku Line, between Azabu-juban and Tameike-sanno Station. Southbound trains continue toward Meguro, where you can change to JR services. Northbound trains reach Yotsuya and Iidabashi without a transfer.

Tameike-sanno, one stop away, provides a transfer to the Ginza Line. Azabu-juban is also one stop away and connects with the Oedo Line. Together, these interchanges cover routes the Namboku Line doesn't serve directly.

Station area

This part of Tokyo-Roppongi mixes offices, residential buildings, and serviced apartments with larger commercial complexes. It isn't the same arrival point as Roppongi Crossing, so confirm your destination before leaving the train.

Although Exit 4 leads into Azabudai Hills, its shops and galleries are spread across several buildings. Check the building name before choosing a route through the complex.

What's nearby

Azabudai Hills brings together shopping, dining, public art, and the teamLab Borderless digital art museum. The museum is in Garden Plaza B and requires a separate admission ticket; booking ahead is advisable.

Good to know

There are no JR platforms here. For JR or Shinkansen travel, plan an onward connection rather than expecting a long-distance rail interchange at Roppongi-itchome.
