Overview
Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station is the main Fukuoka terminal for the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line. It serves the south side of Fukuoka-Tenjin, close to department stores, the Tenjin Expressway Bus Terminal, Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) retail buildings, and hotels around Watanabe-dori.
Lines and station number
The station is served by the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line and is numbered T01. For visitors, it is especially useful for private-rail journeys toward Yakuin, Nishitetsu Futsukaichi, Dazaifu connections, Kurume, Yanagawa-area itineraries, and Omuta.
Station area
The station is part of the wider Tenjin station area, near Tenjin Station on the Airport Line and Tenjin-minami Station on the Nanakuma Line. These stations are close enough to consider when choosing a hotel, but they belong to different rail systems and have separate entrances.

Use Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station for Nishitetsu rail routes and destinations on the south side of Tenjin. Use Tenjin Station for the Airport Line to Fukuoka Airport and Hakata, and Tenjin-minami Station for Nanakuma Line trips.
