Overview
Nagahoribashi Station is an Osaka Metro station in the Osaka-Shinsaibashi area, east of Shinsaibashi Station and close to hotels in Minamisenba. It is a practical option for travelers staying on the east side of Shinsaibashi who want subway access without first walking to the main Midosuji Line station.
Lines and access
The station is served by the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line as K16 and the Osaka Metro Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line as N16. The Sakaisuji Line connects the area with Sakaisuji-Hommachi, Nippombashi, and Tengachaya. The Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line runs west toward Shinsaibashi and east toward Matsuyamachi, Morinomiya, and Kyobashi.
Station area
For hotel planning, Nagahoribashi is often the better reference point for Minamisenba stays on the east side of Shinsaibashi. Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street, Dotonbori, and the main Shinsaibashi retail area are still within walking reach, but the closest subway entrance may be Nagahoribashi rather than Shinsaibashi.
Good to know
Nagahoribashi and Shinsaibashi are close, but they are not interchangeable. Choose the station that best matches your hotel entrance, especially when arriving with luggage or transferring between subway lines.
