Overview
Nagahoribashi Station provides the shortest subway approach to Travelodge Osaka Shinsaibashi, about three to five minutes away on foot. Shinsaibashi Station is around 700 meters away. Scheduled to welcome its first guests on August 1, 2026, the hotel is designed for short city stays and small groups in Minamisenba, on the eastern side of Osaka-Shinsaibashi.
Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street is about 500 meters from the hotel, while Dotonbori is roughly 1.2 kilometers away. Walking south leads through the covered shopping arcade toward Dotonbori's food, bright signs, and evening crowds.
Rooms
Standard Double and Standard Twin rooms measure 13 square meters and accommodate up to two guests. The 17-square-meter Friends & Family Triple and Quadruple rooms sleep three and four guests respectively.
The rooms are still compact. Sharing one can reduce the number of rooms a small group needs, but check the bed arrangement and consider how much luggage everyone will bring before booking for three or four people.
Facilities
The front desk operates around the clock, with assistance available in English and Japanese. Self-service laundry helps on longer trips, while the coworking space provides somewhere to work outside the room.
The hotel is entirely non-smoking. Wi-Fi is available in guest rooms and common areas.
Dining
Breakfast is served daily from 6:30 to 10:00, with last entry at 9:00. For later meals, the nearby shopping streets have a much broader selection of casual restaurants and cafes, with street food and evening dining around Dotonbori.
Location and transport
Nagahoribashi Station serves the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji and Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi lines. It offers the shortest walk to the hotel and serves routes through Nippombashi, Sakaisuji-Hommachi, and the eastern side of central Osaka.
Shinsaibashi Station is farther away but adds the Midosuji Line, which runs directly toward Namba, Umeda, and Shin-Osaka. The extra walk can avoid a transfer when one of those places shapes the day.
Each station serves a different purpose. Use Nagahoribashi for the shortest hotel walk or Sakaisuji Line journeys; use Shinsaibashi when a direct Midosuji Line train matters more.
Airport access
Reaching Kansai International Airport requires a transfer. The rail route uses the Nankai Airport Express from Namba Station, followed by Osaka Metro travel to Nagahoribashi and a short final walk.
Airport limousine buses also reach Namba OCAT, but completing the journey still requires a taxi or a local train and walk. There is no hotel-door airport bus.
Why stay here
The short walk from Nagahoribashi helps on arrival day, while Shinsaibashi Station keeps direct Midosuji Line trains within reach. Triple and quadruple rooms can reduce the number of rooms needed by a small group, provided everyone is comfortable with limited floor space.
There's plenty nearby to fill the rest of the day. Shinsaibashi-suji provides a long covered route for shopping and food, Dotonbori grows livelier after dark, and Amerikamura and Orange Street add fashion, vintage shops, and cafes to the west.
