Overview
You can make the final approach under cover. The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Tokyo Shiodome occupies the upper part of Shiodome Tower, with reception on the 24th floor and guest rooms above. Shiodome Station is about one minute away, while Shimbashi Station is about three minutes from the JR Shiodome Exit or Toei Asakusa Line.
This high-rise address in Tokyo-Shimbashi / Shiodome has outlooks toward Tokyo Tower, Hama-rikyu Gardens, and the bay side of the city. Rooms range from compact doubles to suites, while Premium and Executive bookings include access to the top-floor lounge.
Rooms
Standard and Premium rooms range from about 20 to 57 square meters. Economy doubles begin the range, with larger twin, king, and suite layouts for guests who want more room. Many categories have a separate bathing area, and an accessible superior twin is available.
Writing desks and 2.8-meter ceilings give most rooms a more open working setup than floor area alone might suggest. The Executive Floor occupies the 38th floor, where ceilings rise to 3.2 meters and the largest suite reaches 77.1 square meters. Views depend on the category booked, and rooms facing Nippon Television Tower may have a partly obstructed outlook.
Facilities
The 38th-floor Executive Lounge is reserved for Premium and Executive Floor guests. It serves breakfast, daytime refreshments, and evening cocktails, accompanied by broad views across Hama-rikyu Gardens and the waterfront. Standard-room bookings don't include access.
A complimentary gym on basement level two is open around the clock, although it has no changing rooms or showers. Coin laundry, ice, and vending machines are grouped on the 26th floor. Meeting rooms, banquet space, paid underground parking, and in-room body-care treatments support business events and longer stays, but this isn't a resort-style hotel.
Dining
All-Day Dining HARMONY serves buffet breakfast and other meals on the 24th floor, alongside Bar & Lounge THE BAR. Both make use of the high-rise setting, with views toward Tokyo Tower and Hama-rikyu Gardens.
Japanese restaurant OSHIMA SHIMBASHI SHIODOME specializes in Kaga cuisine on the 25th floor. At street level, CHAYA Macrobiotics serves plant-focused cafe dishes and a weekday breakfast. Operating days vary, so check ahead if a particular breakfast or dinner venue matters to your plans.
Location and transport
Shiodome provides the shortest approach. The Toei Oedo Line serves Roppongi and Shinjuku, while the Yurikamome runs through Odaiba and Ariake toward Toyosu. Both are about one minute from the hotel, but they use separate gates and platforms.
Shimbashi adds JR services, the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, and the Toei Asakusa Line. The JR and Toei approaches take about three minutes, while the Ginza Line approach takes about five. An underground passage through Shiodome Sio-Site keeps the route sheltered in wet weather. Shinkansen journeys still require a connection at Tokyo or Shinagawa.
Airport access
A scheduled limousine bus connects Narita Airport directly with the hotel in roughly 90 to 120 minutes. It can be the simplest option with luggage when the timetable matches your flight, though traffic and limited departures make it important to check the latest schedule.
From Haneda Airport, rail journeys take about 40 minutes before the short walk from Shimbashi. One route uses Keikyu and the Toei Asakusa Line via Shinagawa; another uses the Tokyo Monorail with a change at Hamamatsucho. These are rail connections rather than a hotel-door airport shuttle.
Why stay here
The sheltered approach, two nearby stations, and rooms above the Shiodome tower district take some friction out of arriving with luggage or in poor weather. Premium and Executive guests also gain a top-floor lounge, while every room category benefits from the same nearby transport. The tradeoff is straightforward: Shinkansen journeys require a connection elsewhere.
Hama-rikyu Gardens brings an Edo-period landscape and tidal pond into the modern district below. Across the railway, Shimbashi's narrow dining lanes offer a more informal evening than the tower restaurants, while the large Ghibli-designed clock is close to the hotel at Shiodome Sio-Site.
Good to know
Reception is on the 24th floor and guest rooms occupy floors 26 through 38, so arrivals involve an elevator ride after entering Shiodome Tower. Executive Lounge access comes with Premium or Executive bookings, not simply a high-floor room. Restaurant schedules and some views vary. The hotel has also announced temporary dining renovations during August and September 2026, so check current operations if those details could affect your stay.
