Overview
Art is part of the room choice at Park Hotel Tokyo, not merely lobby decoration. The hotel occupies the upper floors of Shiodome Media Tower, with reception on the 25th floor and guest rooms above. Shiodome Station is about one minute away, while Shimbashi Station is a seven-minute walk.
The 268-room hotel stages exhibitions throughout its public spaces and guest-room corridors. Each Artist Room has been created by a different artist. This gives the stay a stronger visual identity than a conventional high-rise hotel. The setting in Tokyo-Shimbashi / Shiodome also keeps Ginza, Hama-rikyu Gardens, and the Tokyo Bay side of the city close.
Rooms
Room categories begin with 19-square-meter singles and 22-square-meter queen or twin rooms. Corner rooms measure 26 square meters, deluxe rooms 33 square meters, and the 80-square-meter Park Suite is the largest option. A 26-square-meter barrier-free twin is also available.
Views vary by category, facing Tokyo Tower, Hama-rikyu Gardens and Tokyo Bay, or the Shimbashi and Ginza side of the city. Artist Rooms bring another choice: each has been transformed into an original work, with paintings and installations extending across walls and furnishings. The exact Artist Room is assigned at check-in, though guests can submit preferences in advance.
Facilities
All staying guests can use the Executive Museum Lounge on the 25th floor. Self-service soft drinks are complimentary, while alcoholic drinks cost extra. The lounge is also available for a limited period before check-in and after check-out. That gives early arrivals and departing guests somewhere to pause.
Art continues along the corridors from floors 26 to 34, with changing exhibitions beyond the dedicated Artist Rooms. Everyday support includes 24-hour coin laundries on two guest floors, luggage storage, concierge service, and paid parking in Shiodome Media Tower. Art remains the defining facility here.
Dining
Three venues share the 25th-floor setting. ART colours Dining serves breakfast and all-day meals, Hanasanshou offers Japanese cuisine in the evening, and The Society is a small cocktail and whisky bar with city views. Room service is available from breakfast through dinner.
Breakfast isn't included with every room rate, so check the booked plan if eating at the hotel matters. Reservations are worthwhile when planning a particular evening at the Japanese restaurant because its operating days can vary.
Location and transport
Shiodome provides the shortest approach, at about one minute on foot from either the Toei Oedo Line or Yurikamome. The Oedo Line is useful for Roppongi, Aoyama, and Shinjuku, while the Yurikamome runs through Odaiba and Ariake to Toyosu.
The seven-minute walk to Shimbashi adds JR services, the Ginza Line, and the Toei Asakusa Line. Use Shimbashi for trips through central Tokyo, subway journeys toward Ginza and Asakusa, or selected airport through-trains. Neither station has Shinkansen platforms, so bullet-train departures still require a connection to Tokyo or Shinagawa.
Airport access
A scheduled airport limousine bus currently runs between Narita Airport and Park Hotel Tokyo. Departures are limited, and the journey takes roughly 110 minutes. It's the simplest option with luggage when the timetable matches your flight, but check the schedule again before travel.
The hotel-door limousine bus for Haneda Airport is suspended. A suitable Keikyu and Toei through-train reaches Shimbashi from Haneda in about 30 minutes, followed by the seven-minute walk. Not every train follows the same route, so check the destination before boarding.
Why stay here
A one-minute station approach, high-floor city views, and art extending into individual rooms give Park Hotel Tokyo a clear identity. The room itself can become part of the reason to stay, while Shimbashi's wider rail network remains close enough for JR trips and airport connections.
Beyond the hotel, Hama-rikyu Gardens provides an Edo-period landscape below Shiodome's towers. Ginza adds shopping and galleries, while Shimbashi's restaurant lanes offer informal evening meals on the other side of the district.
