Lines and connections

The station is served by the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line and Osaka Metro Chuo Line. The Tanimachi Line gives north-south subway access through central Osaka, while the Chuo Line gives east-west access toward Hommachi, Morinomiya, and Yumeshima-side routes.

Naniwa Palace Ruins Park is directly adjacent to the station, and Osaka Castle Park is about six minutes on foot from Exit 1-A. Patina Osaka is about 600 meters away, about eight minutes on foot.

Good to know

Tanimachi 4-chome is a better fit for Osaka Castle Area, Naniwa Palace Ruins Park, and the Osaka Museum of History than for Umeda, Namba, or Shin-Osaka hotel logistics. Travelers who want JR access on the east side of the castle area should also compare Morinomiya Station.
