Overview
Across from Hisaya Odori Park at the southern end of Nagoya-Sakae, TIAD, Autograph Collection is about one minute from Yabacho Station Exit 1. Its 150 rooms are unusually spacious, with park views available, while three dining venues and a substantial wellness floor broaden the stay beyond the room itself.
This is a full-service luxury stay in Sakae, not a hotel beside the city's main intercity rail hub. Downtown shopping begins outside. Reaching Nagoya Station requires a subway change or taxi ride.
Rooms
Every guest room is larger than 50 square metres. Deluxe and Premier rooms range from 51 to 61 square metres, with king or twin beds and a choice of city or park views. Floor-to-ceiling windows shape the rooms, and selected park-view categories add a balcony.
The 57-square-metre Junior Suite has a corner layout and butler service. The 96-square-metre Suite adds a balcony and walk-in closet, while the 115-square-metre Presidential Suite includes a separate living area, balcony, walk-in closet, and steam sauna. Butler service is included with both larger suites as well.
Facilities
The Wellness Zone brings together an 18.5-metre heated indoor infinity pool, a 99-square-metre gym, Japanese-style thermal baths, a lounge, and spa treatments. The gym is open around the clock, but the pool and bathing facilities have more limited hours.
During its published hours, the wellness lounge serves drinks, smoothies, fruit, and snacks. The entire zone is restricted to guests aged 16 and over, so families with younger children won't be able to use these facilities together.
Dining
Table For Tomorrow serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the fifth floor, using locally sourced ingredients and opening onto a terrace overlooking Hisaya Odori Park. Breakfast combines a buffet with a choice of three main dishes.
SHUHARI serves Japanese omakase menus at lunch and dinner. On the third floor, the Lounge focuses on sweets, tea, afternoon tea, and drinks. In-room dining runs from morning until late evening, with dishes from Table For Tomorrow and SHUHARI alongside choices created specifically for room service.
Location and transport
Yabacho Station Exit 1 is about one minute away. The Meijo Line reaches Nagoya Sakae Station in one stop, where passengers can change to the Higashiyama Line for Nagoya Station. The hotel's estimated subway journey from Nagoya Station is about 15 minutes.
Matsuzakaya Nagoya connects directly to Yabacho Station, and Nagoya PARCO is also nearby. Hisaya-odori Garden Flarie is about three minutes from Exit 4. The main Sakae intersection, Oasis 21, and MIRAI TOWER are farther north.
Airport access
The estimated journey from Chubu Centrair International Airport is about 50 minutes by Meitetsu and subway, or about 45 minutes by taxi. There is no hotel airport shuttle, and traveling by rail requires a transfer.
From Nagoya Airport at Komaki, the published public-transport route uses the Aoi shuttle bus to Sakae, followed by the Meijo Line to Yabacho. The estimated journey is about 40 minutes by this route or 30 minutes by taxi.
Why stay here
Generous rooms, a full wellness floor, and the shopping of southern Sakae are the main reasons to stay here. Yabacho Station keeps subway trips straightforward, while the park-facing position brings a softer outlook to a busy downtown district. The tradeoff is clear: Shinkansen journeys still require a connection to Nagoya Station.
Sakae is Nagoya's trend-focused shopping and business district. Matsuzakaya and PARCO anchor the blocks around Yabacho, while Hisaya-odori Garden Flarie brings six themed gardens to the area's southern edge. The better-known Oasis 21 and MIRAI TOWER landmarks are farther north around Sakae and Hisaya-odori stations.
Good to know
The Wellness Zone is limited to guests aged 16 and over. The pool operates from late morning until evening, while the thermal baths and lounge follow their own schedules. Only the gym is open 24 hours.
On-site parking costs ¥4,500 per night and uses a mechanical system with vehicle-size restrictions. Check-in begins at 3:00 pm, check-out is at noon, and pets are not accepted.
