Overview
At the quieter end of Yebisu Garden Place, The Westin Tokyo occupies 22 floors and is seven minutes on foot from Ebisu Station. Its 438 rooms and suites are complemented by eight dining venues, a 24-hour fitness studio, a full-service spa, a club lounge, and extensive event space.
There is plenty here to justify spending time at the hotel. Generous rooms, a broad choice of restaurants, and wellness facilities make it easy to build a proper breakfast, dinner, or spa appointment into the day. The Yamanote and Hibiya lines remain within walking distance.
Rooms
All guestrooms and suites have undergone a comprehensive redesign. Every category includes the Westin Heavenly Bed, and large windows provide city views, with Tokyo Tower visible from selected rooms.
The 438-key total comprises 418 guestrooms and 20 suites. The Westin Club is on the 22nd floor. Executive-floor rooms and suites include access. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails are served there, with workspace and concierge support also available. Under the current policy, Marriott Bonvoy Platinum members and above receive club access.
Facilities
The complimentary Westin WORKOUT Fitness Studio is open around the clock, so an early or late session can fit around sightseeing. Le Spa Parisien offers bookable facials, massages, body treatments, a steam room, and therapy baths.
Westin Garden provides a quieter outdoor setting with a stream, seasonal planting, and around 300 flower varieties. Meeting rooms and ballrooms give the hotel a substantial business and events side, but leisure guests still have spaces where they can step away from that activity.
Dining
Eight restaurants, bars, and lounges cover far more than breakfast. The Terrace serves an international buffet beside the garden, Ryutenmon focuses on Cantonese cooking, and Mai handles sushi, tempura, and kaiseki. Yebisu adds teppanyaki and top-floor views.
The Lounge is the setting for afternoon tea, while The Bar and Escalier serve cocktails at different times of day. Patisserie by The Westin Tokyo completes the lineup with cakes, baked goods, and takeaway items. A serious meal doesn't require leaving the building.
Location and transport
The JR East Exit provides the simplest approach. Follow the Yebisu Sky Walk moving walkway into Yebisu Garden Place, then continue through the complex to the hotel. The published walk is seven minutes, so the location is convenient but not directly attached to the station gates.
Ebisu is one stop from Shibuya on the JR Yamanote Line. The Saikyo and Shonan-Shinjuku lines add further north-south options, while the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line runs directly toward Roppongi, Ginza, Akihabara, and Ueno. Although the hotel is in Tokyo-Ebisu / Meguro, Ebisu Station is the stop to use for this address.
Airport access
A reservation-required airport shuttle to Narita Airport is currently listed at 3,600 yen one way. Confirm the timetable and fare with the hotel before relying on it, since airport bus schedules can change.
There is no hotel shuttle to Haneda Airport. Rail travel requires a transfer, such as taking the Yamanote Line to Hamamatsucho and changing to the Tokyo Monorail, while private car service is available on request. Haneda is the closer airport by road, at 15 kilometers from the hotel.
Why stay here
The combination of generous rooms, broad dining, and wellness facilities matters most when the hotel itself is part of the trip. The seven-minute station walk is the main compromise, but in return you'll have enough on site for a slower day, a business schedule, or an evening without another train ride.
Yebisu Garden Place adds restaurants, landscaped plazas, Yebisu Brewery Tokyo, the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, and high-floor city views around the hotel. Closer to the station, Ebisu's smaller bars and casual restaurants give the neighborhood more range than the polished complex alone suggests.
Good to know
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and check-out is by noon. The hotel is smoke-free, the minimum check-in age is 20, and pets aren't allowed. Check dining, spa, club, and airport-bus hours for the dates of your stay.
