Overview
A one-minute walk from Oshiage Station Exit B3 places Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole directly across from Tokyo Skytree Town. Direct trains serve both Tokyo airports, while the 252 rooms range from straightforward doubles to themed spaces built around books, entertainment, Japanese design, and private saunas.
Opened in 2015, the hotel was reworked around its Schole concept in 2022, treating free time as an important part of the stay. The 13th floor explores books, film, games, and Japanese design, while the sixth floor is dedicated to rooms with private sauna and spa facilities.
Rooms
Standard doubles are much simpler. They measure either 18.9 or 23.5 square meters, accommodate up to two guests, and have a 150-centimeter-wide bed. Superior Twin rooms provide 38 square meters of space and can sleep four with additional beds.
The concept categories offer a different experience. Book rooms have wall-length shelving, while theater and gaming rooms focus on their namesake activities. Selected sixth-floor rooms add a private sauna, cold bath, or spa area. The largest option, the 71.8-square-meter Spa Twin, accommodates four guests.
Facilities
Beside the lobby, SHARE LOUNGE Oshiage holds about 1,300 books and a large board-game collection. Drinks and snacks are available, and high-speed Wi-Fi with powered seats also makes the lounge suitable for work. Entry is included with eligible rooms or plans; other guests can pay separately, so it isn't a universal room benefit.
Coin laundry is on the sixth floor, with microwaves and ice machines on the seventh and tenth floors. Affiliated parking occupies the third and fourth floors, but spaces aren't reserved exclusively for hotel guests and cannot be booked in advance.
Dining
Sizzler serves breakfast on the fifth floor from 06:30 to 10:30. The buffet centers on its salad bar, seasonal fruit, grilled dishes, and cheese toast, providing an early option in a neighborhood where few restaurants open for breakfast.
Selected Sizzler dishes can also be delivered to guest rooms from 09:00 to 21:00. Across the road, Tokyo Solamachi has a broad selection of restaurants and cafes for meals outside the hotel.
Location and transport
Oshiage Station brings together the Hanzomon and Toei Asakusa subway lines with Keisei and Tobu services. The Asakusa Line reaches Asakusa in about four minutes, while the Hanzomon Line runs to Otemachi in about 16 minutes without a transfer.
Each line serves a different part of the trip. Hanzomon trains head toward central Tokyo, the Asakusa and Keisei tracks carry through-services to the airports, and Tobu trains cover the Skytree side of eastern Tokyo and routes farther north.
Airport access
Keikyu and Toei Asakusa through-services run from Haneda Airport to Oshiage without a transfer in about 45 minutes. From Narita Airport, Keisei Narita Sky Access trains reach Oshiage directly in about 55 minutes.
These are station-to-station journeys rather than hotel-door transfers. Allow extra time for waiting, airport formalities, and the short walk from Exit B3.
Why stay here
The one-minute station walk and direct airport trains simplify arrival and departure days. The main choice is between an ordinary double and a concept room; only the latter brings the hotel's distinctive features into the room itself.
Tokyo Skytree's observation decks, Tokyo Solamachi's shopping and dining, and nearby museums can fill a day without crossing the city. Asakusa is only a short train ride away.
Good to know
The hotel isn't directly connected to Oshiage Station. Exit B3 is nevertheless only one minute away, and Tokyo Skytree Town is directly across the road.
Standard check-in is at 14:00 and checkout is at 11:00. Not every room has a concept feature, so compare the exact category before booking, especially if a private sauna, book collection, or space for a group is central to your stay.
