Overview
In Fukuoka-Tenjin, HOTEL MYSTAYS Fukuoka Tenjin is three minutes from Tenjin Station and close to the department stores, restaurants, and smaller streets around Daimyo. Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station is six minutes away, giving guests a choice of two rail networks.
The hotel has 217 guest rooms and the essentials for a straightforward city stay, including breakfast and guest laundry. The location does most of the work.
Facilities
Guest laundry is handy if Fukuoka is one stop on a longer trip. Coffee machines and a water server provide quick refreshments, while a foreign-currency exchange machine is also available in the building.
Dining
Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant. Later meals are easy to find nearby: Tenjin has department-store dining, independent restaurants, cafes, and yatai, while Daimyo adds smaller streets lined with places to eat and drink.
Location and transport
Hotel directions use Exit 4 of Tenjin Station or West Exit 1 of Tenjin Underground Mall for the three-minute walk. Tenjin Station is on the Airport Line, with direct trains to Hakata and Fukuoka Airport.
The six-minute walk to Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station adds the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line for trips south of central Fukuoka. The subway and Nishitetsu stations are separate, so check the station name and exit carefully when arriving with luggage.
Airport access
Airport Line trains run directly between Tenjin and Fukuoka Airport in about 11 minutes. The subway station connects directly to the Domestic Terminal, while international passengers use the free shuttle bus between terminal areas. Allow extra time for that transfer before an international flight.
Why stay here
The short airport ride and three-minute final walk simplify arrival, while the nearby Nishitetsu station adds another option for regional trips. Shinkansen access is the tradeoff: those trains leave from Hakata Station, reached by a short subway ride rather than on foot.
Department stores and Tenjin Underground Mall cover daytime shopping. Restaurants, cafes, yatai, and nearby Daimyo let you continue into dinner without crossing the city again.
Good to know
Tenjin Station, Tenjin-minami Station, and Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station serve different lines and have separate entrances. For this hotel, follow the Airport Line signs to Tenjin Station Exit 4 or Tenjin Underground Mall West Exit 1.
