Overview
Rail lines shape both the view and the stay. Hotel Metropolitan Oimachi Tracks occupies part of the OIMACHI TRACKS complex, with a direct connection to the Tracks Gate at Oimachi Station. JR, Tokyu, and Rinkai services meet at this interchange. From there, trains head toward Shinagawa, central and western Tokyo, and Odaiba.
Opened in March 2026, the hotel has 285 rooms and a design inspired by a cottage in a forest. Wood tones and greenery soften the urban setting, while selected rooms and the rooftop bar overlook the Yamanote Line rail yard. It favors guests who value varied transport and a self-contained station complex over a traditional sightseeing neighborhood.
Rooms
Comfort King and Comfort Twin rooms are the simplest categories, measuring about 20 to 22 square meters and using shower booths. Track-view King and Twin rooms face the rail yard, and several higher categories add balconies.
Corner Twin rooms provide more floor space, a bathtub with a separate washing area, and capacity for a third guest with an extra bed. The Superior Twin with Balcony has an accessible layout, while the larger Premium Twin and Suite offer more space around the rail-yard view. The suite also includes a 100-inch screen.
Facilities
A self-service cloakroom on the fifth floor stores luggage before check-in and after checkout. The sixth-floor fitness room is open around the clock to registered guests. Coin laundries on the eighth and tenth floors support longer stays, while microwaves, ice machines, and vending machines are available on two other guest floors.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Reception and the lobby are on the fifth floor, with guest rooms occupying floors six through thirteen.
Dining
The Tailor Yard Main Dining is a French-bistro-style restaurant with an interior inspired by a classic European dining car. At breakfast, guests select a main plate influenced by one of three countries, then add items from a buffet of more than 50 dishes spanning six countries. Lunch, cafe fare, and dinner are also served.
On the 26th floor, about 100 meters above ground, the Travelers House Rooftop Bar serves cocktails and grilled dishes against broad city and rail-yard views. It's the hotel's most distinctive evening space.
Location and transport
The direct connection leads specifically to JR Oimachi Station's Tracks Gate. JR Keihin-Tohoku Line trains run north toward Shinagawa and Tokyo Station, and south toward Kamata and Kawasaki. The Rinkai Line provides direct trains toward Tokyo Teleport, Kokusai-tenjijo, and Shin-kiba, plus through services via Osaki toward Shibuya and Shinjuku. The Tokyu Oimachi Line serves Jiyugaoka, Futako-tamagawa, and Mizonokuchi.
Tokyu and Rinkai services have their own entrances and fare gates, so the hotel connection isn't a direct indoor route to every platform. All three lines, however, are part of the same Oimachi interchange.
Airport access
Scheduled public buses connect the OIMACHI TRACKS North Rotary with all three Haneda Airport terminals. The stop is within the same complex, but the service is a public airport bus rather than a private hotel shuttle. Road traffic can affect journey times, so check the current timetable before traveling.
There is no verified direct service from the hotel to Narita Airport. Reaching Narita requires at least one rail or bus connection elsewhere in Tokyo.
Why stay here
Direct JR access, rail services in several useful directions, and a public bus stop for Haneda simplify a transport-focused stay. The rail-yard outlook adds character, while the room selection ranges from compact king and twin layouts to balcony rooms and a suite.
Beyond the lobby, Tokyo-Oimachi is more than a transfer point. OIMACHI TRACKS covers daily needs with restaurants, shops, and a cinema. The complex also holds wellness facilities, offices, residences, and public spaces. Daily errands stay close without placing guests at one of Tokyo's busiest rail hubs.
Good to know
The hotel doesn't have a private car park. Drivers can use paid parking in the wider complex, subject to availability and vehicle-height limits.
Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m., and checkout is by 11:00 a.m. Both the hotel and the Tracks Gate opened as new additions to the Oimachi station area in March 2026.
