A covered walkway connects ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Grand Court Nagoya with the south exit of Kanayama Station in about one minute. From this high-rise location in Nagoya-Kanayama, JR, Meitetsu, and two subway routes are close to the lobby, with direct airport trains and a short ride to Nagoya Station.
All 245 rooms and suites occupy floors 16 through 27. This is a full-service city stay rather than a compact business hotel, with several restaurants, meeting spaces, 24-hour room service, and a guest fitness room.

Standard-floor rooms begin at 24 square meters and occupy floors 16 through 24. Choices range from doubles to larger twin and family layouts, including a four-bed corner room. An accessible twin is also available.
High Floor rooms on levels 25 through 27 include Wing Lounge access and views across Nagoya from roughly 130 meters above ground. Suites separate the living and sleeping areas, while the largest suite also has dining and kitchen space.
Room category matters here. The standard double is the most compact option, while twins and larger doubles provide considerably more floor space. The 24th floor is reserved for smoking rooms, so check the category carefully if you need a non-smoking room.
Facilities
The guest fitness room on the 16th floor is open around the clock, with aerobic machines and free weights. It is limited to hotel guests aged 20 and over.
Free Wi-Fi and 24-hour room service support short visits and longer stays. Basement parking has 347 spaces, including accessible spaces, and an overnight fee applies. Meeting facilities add flexibility for business trips and events, but there's no listed swimming pool or public bath.
Dining
Garden Court on the second floor serves the main breakfast buffet, featuring the hotel's THE 10 signature menu and regional ingredients. Buffet service continues later in the day, so it is the building's most casual all-purpose restaurant.
Star Gate on the 30th floor pairs French dining with broad city views. Chinese and Japanese restaurants, a lobby lounge, and a high-floor bar add enough variety for several meals without repeating the same format.
Location and transport
Kanayama Station serves the JR Tokaido and Chuo main lines, the Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line, and the municipal subway's Meijo and Meiko lines. JR trains reach Nagoya Station in about five minutes, where travelers can connect to the Tokaido Shinkansen and other intercity services.
Kanayama has no Shinkansen platforms. If you're catching an early bullet train, allow time for the JR ride and the transfer through Nagoya Station. Subway journeys toward Sakae, Nagoya Castle, and Nagoya Port can begin directly from Kanayama.
Airport access
Meitetsu's direct Mu-Sky service reaches Chubu Centrair International Airport from Kanayama in about 25 minutes. The covered one-minute walk to the station helps with luggage and poor weather, while the direct train avoids a transfer at Nagoya Station.
The hotel doesn't list an airport shuttle. Check the current Meitetsu timetable and ticket requirements for your chosen train, especially before an early departure.
Why stay here
Direct Centrair trains, several city rail routes, and full-service facilities are the central advantages. High-floor rooms, varied dining, and meeting spaces offer more than a basic station hotel, while the covered walkway is welcome in rain or with luggage. The tradeoff is clear: Shinkansen journeys require a short connection through Nagoya Station.
Atsuta Jingu is a short Meitetsu ride away, and the Meiko Line runs toward Nagoya Port and its aquarium. By Kanayama's north exit, Asunal Kanayama provides shops, restaurants, and an event space for everyday needs, although Nagoya Station and Sakae have broader downtown choices.

Check-in begins at 3:00 pm, and check-out is at noon. The fitness room is limited to guests aged 20 and over, and overnight parking is paid.
