On the northeast side of Osaka Castle Area, Osakajokoen Station is the closest JR stop for Osaka-jo Hall, nearby hotels, and paths into Osaka Castle Park.
Lines and connections
The station is served by the JR Osaka Loop Line as JR-O07. Trains run directly toward Osaka Station and other major stops around central Osaka. If you're arriving by Shinkansen at Shin-Osaka, continue to Osaka Station and transfer there to the Loop Line.
Station area
Osaka-jo Hall is about five minutes away on foot, while Hotel New Otani Osaka is about three minutes from the station. This side of the park suits concert visits, park outings, and stays near the castle's northeast grounds.
Good to know
Osakajokoen Station serves the park's northeast side rather than every Osaka Castle entrance. That distinction matters. The walking route to Hotel New Otani Osaka includes stairs, so travelers with heavy luggage or step-free requirements should check the station route before arriving.
