Overview
Iwamotocho Station is served by the Toei Shinjuku Line on the south side of Akihabara. It is separate from Akihabara Station, but close enough to be useful for hotels and routes around Kandasudacho, Soto-Kanda, and the Manseibashi side of Akihabara.
Lines and access
The station is Toei Shinjuku Line station S08. Exit A3 is about a six-minute walk from JR-East Hotel Mets Premier Akihabara, making Iwamotocho a convenient nearby option for trips on the Toei Shinjuku Line.
Visitor use
Iwamotocho is most useful when the Toei Shinjuku Line offers the better route, especially for subway travel toward Jimbocho, Kudanshita, Ichigaya, or Shinjuku. For JR Yamanote, Keihin-Tohoku, Chuo-Sobu, Hibiya Line, or Tsukuba Express services, Akihabara Station is usually the more direct choice.
