Citadines North Shinjuku Tokyo is scheduled to open on October 28, 2026, in Hyakunincho, Shinjuku Ward. Ascott began accepting reservations for the hotel rooms on August 4. Reservation details for the serviced residences will be announced separately.
The opening will make it the fourth Citadines property in Japan. Ascott is also running an opening campaign offering discounts of up to 30 percent on stays.
The property will combine 106 hotel rooms with 73 serviced residences, creating a total inventory of 179 units. Hotel accommodations will start with 25-square-meter studios and extend to two-bedroom layouts for three to six guests, including options intended for families and groups.
The serviced residences will range from 48 to 152 square meters. Studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts will accommodate between two and six guests, with most units including kitchen facilities. The residences are intended for medium- and long-term stays, including relocations, training periods and project assignments.
A 24-hour reception desk, gym, laundry facilities and a café are among the planned shared facilities. The property will also have vending machines, a foreign-currency exchange machine and water dispensers.
The interior design follows a “Patchwork” concept based on the varied cultures, history and communities of Hyakunincho. The neighborhood has developed over more than 400 years and is now known as one of Japan’s major Koreatowns, with restaurants and shops representing countries from around the world.
Citadines North Shinjuku Tokyo will be located at 2-27-7 Hyakunincho, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo. The property is approximately three minutes on foot from Okubo Station and seven minutes from Shin-Okubo Station.
