Overview

The Tokyo Station Hotel is located inside the restored red-brick Marunouchi building at Tokyo Station. Set within Tokyo Station and Marunouchi, it is one of central Tokyo's most rail-friendly luxury hotels, well suited to travelers who want Shinkansen access, Narita Express convenience, Marunouchi dining, and a historic setting rather than a nightlife-focused neighborhood.

Rooms

Rooms range from Classic Rooms of 23 to 47 square meters to Dome Side, City View, Palace Side, Palace View, Maisonette, Junior Suite, Liberty, and larger suite categories. The hotel's most distinctive accommodations include rooms along the station's cupola domes, two-level maisonette rooms, and suites shaped by the restored station building rather than a conventional high-rise layout.

Facilities

Facilities and services include concierge support, in-room and rental amenities, child-stay support, platform meet-and-greet service for eligible arrivals at Tokyo Station, and spa and fitness facilities. The wellness area includes The Jexer Tokyo fitness lounge, AN SPA, and a bath and relaxation area with hot baths, a cold bath, sauna, steam sauna, and showers for eligible guests.

Dining

Dining is a central part of the hotel experience, with 10 restaurants, bars, and cafes on the property. Options include Restaurant Blanc Rouge, Sushi Asanogawa, Japanese Restaurant/Teppanyaki Shichi Jyu Ni Kou, Cantonese En, Yakitori Seo, Ristorante & Bar Enoteca Norio, Bar & Cafe Camellia, Bar Oak, The Lobby Lounge, and Cafe & Shop Toraya Tokyo. Breakfast is served at The Atrium for staying guests, with additional breakfast options available at The Lobby Lounge and through in-room dining.

Location and transport

The hotel is directly connected to JR Tokyo Station's Marunouchi South Gate Exit and is about three minutes on foot from the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line side of Tokyo Station. Guests have immediate access to Shinkansen services, JR city and regional lines, the Narita Express, the Marunouchi subway, Marunouchi offices, station dining, and the Imperial Palace side of central Tokyo.

Airport access

Haneda Airport access is rail-based with a transfer, using the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsucho and then JR lines to Tokyo Station. Narita Airport access is more direct, as Narita Express trains run from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station. The hotel also offers an advance-reserved meet-and-greet service for eligible arriving guests.

Why stay here

Choose The Tokyo Station Hotel when Tokyo Station is central to the trip, whether for Shinkansen departures, Narita Express arrivals, Marunouchi meetings, high-service dining, or a stay inside the restored station building. It is a stronger choice for rail access and historic character than for travelers who want Shinjuku, Shibuya, or Asakusa nightlife right outside the door.

Good to know

Tokyo Station is large, and the hotel is most closely connected to the Marunouchi South Gate side. Travelers arriving by Shinkansen on the Yaesu side, by Keiyo Line, by subway, or by taxi should check the exact station route before arrival.
