Transport access and hotel guide

Overview

Free breakfast and separate carbonated public baths add comfort to a short rail stay at Super Hotel Shinyokohama. The hotel is three to four minutes from Shin-Yokohama Station, depending on the line and exit, with Tokaido Shinkansen services and local trains close by.

The surroundings are functional rather than scenic. Early bullet trains, late arrivals, and event nights are easy to manage from here, while Minato Mirai and Yokohama's waterfront remain a local train ride away.

Rooms

Rooms are compact. Standard and Extra rooms measure 12 square meters and have a 150-centimeter bed for one or two guests. The Super Room uses the same footprint but adds a loft bed, accommodating up to three people.

A separate Triple Room is also available. These layouts can handle a brief group stay, but travelers with several large bags shouldn't expect much spare floor space.

Facilities

Separate carbonated baths for men and women are open from 15:00 until 09:00, so even a late arrival leaves time for a soak. Guests can also choose a pillow from the lobby, subject to availability, and the coin laundry operates around the clock.

The bath is the standout. Everything else focuses on everyday needs after a train journey or event.

Dining

The included Japanese and Western breakfast buffet runs from 06:30 to 09:00, with freshly baked bread and organic salad among the regular choices. It won't suit departures before 06:30, but it removes the need to find breakfast before most morning trains.

An evening welcome bar serves complimentary soft drinks and alcoholic drinks. Hours can change, so check the current schedule after arrival.

Location and transport

Allow about four minutes from the JR and Shinkansen side of Shin-Yokohama Station, or about three minutes from the subway and Tokyu side. The Tokaido Shinkansen runs east toward Shinagawa and Tokyo, and west toward Nagoya, Kyoto, and Shin-Osaka.

For local travel, the Blue Line reaches Yokohama Station in about 11 minutes. Tokyu and Sotetsu through services add routes toward central Tokyo and western Kanagawa, so not every trip needs to pass through central Yokohama.

Nissan Stadium is about eight minutes away on foot, while Yokohama Arena is about eleven minutes away. Event crowds can lengthen both walks.

Airport access

Keikyu airport buses run directly between Shin-Yokohama Station and all three Haneda Airport terminals. The stop is at the station rather than the hotel door, and road traffic can affect the journey, so leave a margin before your flight.

Why stay here

An early Shinkansen departure or an event night is when this location proves most valuable. The short station walk, included breakfast, and overnight baths suit a one- or two-night stay; compact rooms with limited floor space are the tradeoff.

The Shin-Yokohama Station Area also keeps the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum and Nissan Stadium nearby. If your plans center on Minato Mirai, Chinatown, or waterfront evenings, expect to travel into central Yokohama rather than step outside into those districts.

Good to know

The hotel isn't directly connected to the station. Its car park has only five spaces, costs JPY 1,600 per night, and requires a telephone reservation, so drivers should confirm parking before arrival.
