Overview
When Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Osaka Honmachi opens on December 18, 2026, guests will have direct access from Honmachi Station Exit 2. The hotel will occupy floors 4 through 13 of the yui-note honmachi complex, facing Midosuji in Osaka-Honmachi.
Honmachi lies between Umeda and Shinsaibashi on the Midosuji Line. Shinsaibashi is one stop away, and Namba is also close by subway, while the hotel remains outside their busiest entertainment streets.
Rooms
The 202 rooms will focus mainly on double and twin layouts. Superior and executive twins, triples, and quads will accommodate groups of three or more, giving families and friends more options than a standard double-only city hotel.
Selected room types will also have a kitchenette and washing machine. These are worth considering for stays of more than a few nights or if you'd rather handle laundry in your room.
Facilities
Reception, the lobby, a lounge, and a cafe and bar will share the third floor. Guests will have somewhere to sit, work, or order a drink, although the overall setup remains that of a city hotel rather than a resort.
Dining
OSAKA HONMACHI ONO will occupy the second floor and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is planned from 6:30 to 11:00, with a choice of main dish and a half buffet.
The third-floor cafe and bar is planned to open from morning until midnight, serving coffee, alcoholic drinks, sweets, and light meals. Between them, the two venues should cover an early breakfast, coffee meetings, and a late drink after returning to Honmachi.
Location and transport
The Midosuji, Yotsubashi, and Chuo lines meet at Honmachi Station. The Midosuji Line runs directly north to Shin-Osaka Station and Umeda, and south to Shinsaibashi, Namba, and Tennoji. It will be the most convenient line for most trips between Osaka's main central districts.
The Chuo Line provides east-west connections, while the Yotsubashi Line follows a parallel route through western central Osaka. The hotel's direct entrance is tied specifically to Midosuji Line Exit 2; the other two lines connect through the wider station complex.
Airport access
Honmachi Station doesn't have a direct airport train. You'll need a transfer. For Kansai International Airport, take the Midosuji Line south to Namba and change to Nankai services.
Why stay here
The direct station entrance should ease luggage-heavy arrivals, business appointments along Midosuji, and itineraries divided between northern Osaka and Minami. Honmachi also provides direct subway service to Shin-Osaka without placing the stay beside the Shinkansen platforms.
At street level, Kita-Mido is reached from the same Exit 2, while the Senba Center Building brings shops and restaurants beneath the district. On Honmachi's western side, Utsubo Park and its rose garden offer a change from the surrounding business streets.
Good to know
The hotel isn't open yet. Reservations have begun for stays from December 18, 2026, but the published lunch, dinner, and cafe and bar hours remain provisional and may change before opening.
