The station link is the headline. JR arrivals are simple, and the Blue Line provides a direct route to Shin-Yokohama Station. The waterfront and Noge offer two very different evenings, while Colette Mare puts shops, restaurants, a cinema, and everyday services in the same complex.

The hotel's 240 rooms occupy floors 10 to 19, divided between inland city views and the Minato Mirai skyline. City View twins and doubles measure 22 square metres, while most Bay View twins offer 30 square metres and broad windows facing the waterfront.
Larger Bay View corner rooms reach 48 square metres and accommodate up to four guests. They add a separate toilet, twin washbasins, a shower area, and a bath positioned to take in the view through the room. A small number of accessible Bay View rooms provide wider circulation space on the tenth floor.
View direction matters more than a minor category label. Book the bay side for Cosmo Clock 21 and the illuminated waterfront, or choose the city side for the inland skyline and a possible Mount Fuji view in clear weather.
Facilities
This is a full-service city stay rather than a resort. Water dispensers, ice, microwaves on selected floors, and paid laundry service cover everyday needs. A meeting room supports work trips, while shared paid parking serves drivers; shopping, a cinema, and casual meals are available within the connected complex.
The hotel is non-smoking apart from a designated smoking area elsewhere in Hulic Minatomirai. Parking is shared with the complex, so drivers should check the current hotel rate and the correct parking level for their arrival time.
Dining
Dining centers on the third-floor restaurant, THE sea, where tall windows overlook Minato Mirai. Breakfast is a broad buffet of Japanese and Western dishes, including Yokohama touches such as steamed dim sum, Chinese rice porridge, and sanmamen-style noodles.
The same restaurant serves lunch, afternoon cafe dishes, pancakes, and dinner. Evening menus range from familiar Western-style plates to steak and seasonal buffets, so guests can dine with a waterfront view without committing to formal fine dining.
Location and transport
The JR side of Sakuragicho Station is about one minute away and directly linked from the North Gate's East Exit. The Blue Line entrance at Sakuragicho is about five minutes on foot, with direct trains to Shin-Yokohama for Tokaido Shinkansen departures.
Minatomirai Station is about ten minutes away on foot. It serves the central waterfront around Queen's Square and Pacifico Yokohama, although JR Sakuragicho will be simpler for most arrivals. A moving walkway from the Landmark Plaza side connects with Colette Mare's second floor.
Airport access
Airport access relies on Yokohama's wider transport network rather than a hotel-door shuttle. For Haneda Airport, take JR from Sakuragicho to Yokohama and change to Keikyu. Buses between Haneda and Yokohama City Air Terminal are another option, followed by the short local train ride back to Sakuragicho.
The hotel estimates about 30 minutes by car from Haneda and about 80 minutes from Narita under normal conditions. Traffic can change those journey times, so rail or bus timetables are a safer basis for planning a flight connection.
Why stay here
The direct JR link, Blue Line route to Shin-Yokohama, and larger Bay View room categories take much of the friction out of a Yokohama sightseeing stay. Both airports still require a transfer, but the hotel is much closer to the waterfront than a room beside Yokohama Station.
Landmark Tower and Nippon Maru Memorial Park are close by, while the moving walkway and Kishamichi Promenade lead into the broader harbor district. Cross the tracks and the atmosphere changes to Noge's compact restaurant and bar streets. Few Yokohama locations make that contrast so easy to enjoy.
Good to know
The direct connection applies specifically to JR Sakuragicho's North Gate East Exit. The municipal subway entrance is farther away, and Minatomirai Station requires a separate ten-minute walk, so check the operator before following a route app.
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and checkout is by 11:00 AM. Views, room sizes, bed setups, and maximum occupancy vary substantially by category, so compare the exact room rather than assuming every booking faces the bay.
