On the Nakasu side of Fukuoka-Nakasu-Kawabata, the hotel is close to riverside restaurants and evening food stalls. The restaurant and public bath give guests good reasons to linger, while the subway keeps the rest of central Fukuoka a short ride away.

All 257 rooms are non-smoking. Standard doubles start at 17.9 square metres, while 20.1-square-metre queen rooms provide a little more space. Larger 24.3-square-metre layouts include wide-king and twin options, and Superior Twins measure 25.4 square metres.
Room choice matters here. Some upper-floor doubles and twins replace the bathtub with a separate shower booth, while other categories retain a tub. Twin rooms with a sofa bed can sleep three, and a 25.8-square-metre accessible double provides a more adaptable layout.
Facilities
The guest-only public bath occupies the 13th floor. Its windows face a water garden, and the adjoining lounge provides somewhere to relax after bathing. A women-only terrace extends the space outdoors.
Bathing hours are 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM and 5:00 to 9:00 AM. Guests can wear hotel nightwear and slippers between their rooms and the bath, so early and late visits are straightforward. Coin laundry is also available for longer stays.
Dining
ONO no HANARE Hakata Main Store serves a Japanese and Western breakfast buffet on the first floor. Seafood from the Genkai Sea and Nagahama Market is a focus, with sushi prepared in front of guests alongside rice and regional dishes.
The restaurant also opens for lunch and dinner, so eating in isn't limited to breakfast. Its seafood emphasis suits the Nakasu setting without requiring guests to plan every meal elsewhere.
Location and transport
Exit 2 of Nakasu-Kawabata Station is about two minutes from the hotel. The station serves the Airport and Hakozaki subway lines, covering both the main cross-city route and journeys toward northeastern Fukuoka.
Airport Line trains reach Tenjin Station in one stop and Hakata Station in two. Hakata is the transfer point for Shinkansen and JR services, while the Hakozaki Line is useful for Gofukumachi and Kaizuka.
Airport access
Direct Airport Line trains connect Fukuoka Airport with Nakasu-Kawabata in under ten minutes, followed by the short walk from Exit 2. Arrivals through the Domestic Terminal don't require a rail transfer.
The subway station is beneath the Domestic Terminal. International passengers must first take the airport's free inter-terminal shuttle, though a direct bus or taxi may be easier with luggage.
Why stay here
The short station walk, direct airport trains, and top-floor public bath ease both arrival and downtime in central Fukuoka. The tradeoff is compact rooms and a two-stop subway ride to Hakata for Shinkansen and JR journeys.
Nakasu's riverside yatai and restaurants grow livelier after dark. By day, Hakataza Theater, Kawabata Shopping Arcade, and the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum bring culture and shopping to the surrounding district.
Good to know
The hotel is close to the subway but isn't directly connected. Allow for a short outdoor walk from Exit 2, particularly with luggage or in poor weather.
On-site parking is limited, paid, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. All guest rooms are non-smoking, with designated smoking areas elsewhere in the building. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and checkout is by 11:00 AM.
