Overview
The guest lounge at Hotel SUI Kanda by ABEST stays open until 2 a.m. The hotel is located south of Kanda Station, four minutes on foot from JR trains, while Shin-Nihombashi Station provides another rail option nearby.
Rooms
Single rooms start at 12.5 square meters, with a 140-centimeter-wide bed and storage underneath for luggage. Twin rooms have two 120-centimeter-wide beds and measure 15 to 25 square meters. The Deluxe Double has a 195-centimeter-wide bed in 12.5 to 14 square meters. It offers a wider bed rather than much more floor space.
All rooms are non-smoking. Families or groups wanting linked bedrooms can reserve a Connecting Room, which joins a twin and a double. This arrangement must be requested by phone.
Facilities
EASY POINT, the shared lounge on the first floor, is open from 6 a.m. until 2 a.m. Guests can relax with welcome coffee or tea or use the tables for work. Coin-operated laundry is available on the same floor around the clock, and guest rooms have Wi-Fi.
Dining
Breakfast is dashi chazuke, with rice and broth accompanied by a small side dish, pickles, and a drink. It's served in EASY POINT from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m., with last orders at 9 a.m. Check whether breakfast is included in your rate.
Happy hour runs from 5 to 7 p.m. with wine, sake, and barley shochu. From 8 to 10 p.m., guests can cook takoyaki, small batter balls filled with octopus, at the self-service snack station.
Location and transport
JR Kanda's East and South exits are each about four minutes away on foot. The Yamanote Line runs one stop to Tokyo or Akihabara, while Chuo Rapid trains provide a direct route to Shinjuku. The Ginza Line at Kanda adds subway connections to Ginza and Asakusa.
Shin-Nihombashi Station is about three minutes away via Exit 6. Its Sobu Rapid Line platforms serve trains toward Chiba or Tokyo and are separate from Kanda Station.
Airport access
From Haneda Airport, take the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsucho and change to the JR Yamanote Line for Kanda. From Narita Airport, the Keisei Skyliner connects with the Yamanote Line at Nippori. Both journeys end with the walk from Kanda Station to the hotel.
Why stay here
The lounge gives you somewhere to sit or work outside the bedroom, even late in the evening. Connecting rooms let families or groups stay together with separate bedrooms.
Tokyo-Kanda has restaurants and bars around the station's west exit, along with long-established soba shops across the wider neighborhood. You can go out for dinner nearby after a day of sightseeing.
Good to know
Standard check-in starts at 3 p.m., and check-out is by 10 a.m. Luggage can be stored before check-in or after check-out, but only on the same day.
