Overview
Above Nakasu's lively evening streets, Hotel Resol Trinity Hakata welcomes guests through a sky lobby on the 13th floor. One floor higher, a guest-only public bath provides a place to unwind after dinner or a late arrival. Exit 1 of Nakasu-Kawabata Station is about a minute away, with direct Airport Line trains to Fukuoka Airport, Hakata, and Tenjin.
Restaurants and bars fill this Nakasu side of Fukuoka-Nakasu-Kawabata. In the other direction, Kawabata Shopping Arcade leads toward Kushida Shrine and Canal City Hakata.
Rooms
Guests remove their shoes at the entrance to every room. The compact Moderetto has a 140-centimetre bed within 16 square metres, while double rooms measure 18 square metres. Standard Twins provide 19 square metres, increasing to 24 in Deluxe Twins.
Groups have several options. Thirty-square-metre Triple rooms sleep three, while Force rooms fit four beds into the same floor area. The hotel's single 48-square-metre Sky View room accommodates up to four guests on the top floor. It has a shower instead of a bathtub, with the public bath on the same level.
Facilities
The 14th-floor public bath looks across Nishinakasu toward Tenjin. Hours run from 3:00 PM to 2:00 AM and again from 6:00 to 9:00 AM, so both late arrivals and early starters have time to use it. Guests need to bring towels from their rooms.
Coin laundry, vending machines, an ice maker, a microwave, and workspace cover everyday needs. The women-only room area has controlled access and its own staircase to the bath. There's also an amenity bar and seating in the main lobby.
Dining
Il Chianti occupies the first floor. Its breakfast buffet runs from 7:00 to 10:00 AM and features about 30 Japanese and Western dishes, including food prepared with local ingredients.
Italian dishes are also served at lunch and dinner. It's a convenient option in the building, although Nakasu's dense restaurant scene leaves plenty of alternatives nearby. Dinner may not be served on Sundays and holidays, so check current hours if you're planning to eat there.
Location and transport
Nakasu-Kawabata Station's Exit 1 is about a one-minute walk away. From there, Tenjin Station is one stop west and Hakata Station is two stops east. Hakata provides connections to Shinkansen and JR services.
Dining and nightlife dominate the immediate streets. By day, the covered Kawabata Shopping Arcade leads toward Kushida Shrine and the older side of Hakata. Canal City Hakata is about ten minutes from Nakasu-Kawabata Station.
Airport access
Direct Airport Line trains travel from Fukuoka Airport to Nakasu-Kawabata in about nine minutes, followed by the one-minute walk from Exit 1. Passengers arriving through the Domestic Terminal don't need to change trains.
The subway station is beneath the Domestic Terminal. International passengers must first use the airport's free inter-terminal shuttle, although a direct bus or taxi may be easier when luggage makes the extra transfer inconvenient.
Why stay here
The short station walk, direct airport trains, and late bathing hours simplify arrivals and evenings out. The tradeoff is clear: this location favors Nakasu dining and a top-floor bath over immediate access to Hakata's Shinkansen platforms.
Nakasu stays lively after dark, while the shopping arcade, Kushida Shrine, and the older streets of Hakata give daytime walks a different character. It isn't a quiet resort setting, so guests sensitive to nightlife should weigh the central location against the convenience of nearby restaurants and transport.
Good to know
Reception is on the 13th floor rather than at street level. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, checkout is by 11:00 AM, and the front desk can hold luggage before or after the stay.
On-site parking is paid, limited, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Cars cannot enter or leave the open-air spaces while the street outside is reserved for pedestrians from 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
