The tradeoff is that the hotel is beside the transport gateway rather than inside the historic sightseeing core. Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa Castle, Higashi Chaya, Nagamachi, and the museum area are reached by bus, taxi, or a longer walk from the station side.
Airport access
Komatsu Airport access works through the Kanazawa Station area. Komatsu Airport access takes about 60 minutes by shuttle bus or about 45 to 60 minutes by car. Treat this as station-area airport access rather than a direct airport rail connection.
