Transport access and hotel guide

Overview

The West Exit of Gotanda Station is about 30 seconds on foot from Hotel Mystays Gotanda Station. The Toei Asakusa Line's A2 entrance is one minute away.

Rooms

Both the Economy Single and Standard Single measure 8 square metres and have a 110-centimetre-wide bed. Their bathrooms are different: Economy Singles have showers only, while Standard Singles include bathtubs.

Couples who want more space can book a 16-square-metre Superior Queen with a 160-centimetre-wide bed. For three people, the Superior Triple has 31 square metres, three beds and a bathroom separate from the toilet. The 47-square-metre Superior Fourth accommodates up to five guests, with a sofa bed for the fifth person.

Facilities

You can buy snacks and drinks at the 24-hour FamilyMart on the first floor. Coin-operated laundry rooms on the fifth and tenth floors are also open around the clock.

Dining

Breakfast is served as a buffet at Trattoria VICINO on the second floor from 7am to 9:30am. For a later meal, Teke-Teke, a yakitori restaurant, is in the basement.

Location and transport

The Yamanote Line runs directly to Shibuya and Shinjuku. In the other direction, change at Shinagawa Station for the Tokaido Shinkansen. Bullet trains don't stop at Gotanda.

For Ginza, take the Toei Asakusa Line toward Higashi-ginza. The line continues to Asakusa, though some trains require a change at Sengakuji. The Tokyu Ikegami Line runs to Togoshi-ginza and Kamata. Its Gotanda entrance is about four minutes from the hotel.

Airport access

From Haneda Airport, take Keikyu to Shinagawa and change to the Yamanote Line for Gotanda. From Narita Airport, you can take the Narita Express to Shinagawa, then continue on the Yamanote Line. Both routes involve one transfer before the walk to the hotel.

Why stay here

Choose this hotel if you expect to spend much of your Tokyo visit out sightseeing and want a short walk back from the trains. For a longer stay with more time in the room, consider one of the larger categories rather than an 8-square-metre single.

In Tokyo-Gotanda, you can eat near the station or walk along the Meguro River toward Osaki. Cherry blossoms grow beside the river in spring.

Good to know

Most Economy Singles face the JR platforms, and rooms on the opposite side are limited. Requests for those rooms can't be guaranteed. Both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available, so check the category before booking.

This is a different hotel from Hotel Mystays Gotanda, which is on the east side of the station.
