Transport access and hotel guide

Overview

Hotel Amanek Kamata-Ekimae is one minute from the West Exit of Kamata Station, putting JR and Tokyu trains almost at the door. Its second-floor public bath offers a welcome place to unwind after a flight, meeting, or day around Tokyo.

Restaurants and everyday shops fill the western side of Kamata. Rooms are compact, but the tradeoff is a quick station arrival and space to soak without leaving the hotel.

Rooms

The hotel has 179 non-smoking rooms across five double, king, twin, and accessible layouts. Published sizes range from 12 to 24 square meters, and every category accommodates no more than two guests. Space is tight.

Under-bed storage helps keep suitcases out of the way. The Standard Double has a unit bathroom, while the king and regular twin categories have shower booths with separate toilets and washbasins. The 24-square-meter Accessible Twin adds wider doors and a barrier-free bathroom.

Facilities

Shiki-no-Yu, on the second floor, has a large indoor bath and a separate open-air bathing area. It opens in the evening and again in the early morning, so you can soak after a late return or before setting out for the day.

A congestion monitor shows how busy the bath and laundry are. Coin laundry is available around the clock, and the hotel provides luggage storage. There is no hotel car park, so arriving by train or bus is simpler than driving.

Location and transport

Kamata Station is the easiest arrival point with luggage. JR Keihin-Tohoku Line trains run toward Shinagawa, Tokyo, Kawasaki, and Yokohama, while the Tokyu Ikegami and Tamagawa lines serve neighborhoods across southwestern Tokyo.

Keikyu Kamata Station is about ten minutes away along the hotel's published route. It has direct Airport Line trains to Haneda and Main Line services toward Shinagawa and Yokohama, but it is a separate station rather than part of the JR and Tokyu complex.

Airport access

A scheduled Keikyu Bus route connects Kamata Station's East Exit with all three Haneda airport terminals. The hotel estimates about 25 minutes on the bus, followed by a walk of roughly four minutes from the East Exit stop. Traffic can affect the journey.

This is paid public transport, not a hotel-operated shuttle. Direct airport trains also depart from Keikyu Kamata, though reaching that station requires a separate ten-minute walk from the hotel.

Why stay here

The one-minute walk from the West Exit removes much of the friction from JR and Tokyu arrivals, while the public bath provides room to soak outside the guest room. That combination is especially helpful for a short business visit, a first or last night around Haneda, or a Tokyo stay planned around the Keihin-Tohoku Line.

Kamata feels more like a lived-in neighborhood than an airport district. Local restaurants cluster around the station, while Ota City's wider public-bath culture gives the area an identity beyond transport.

Good to know

Kamata Station and Keikyu Kamata Station are separate. The hotel is beside the JR and Tokyu station on the western side of the district; direct Haneda trains leave from Keikyu Kamata farther east.

The in-house bath is a large public bath, not a verified natural hot spring. The hotel has no parking, and all published room categories are designed for no more than two guests.
