Overview
Staff can meet you on your arrival platform at Tokyo Station and accompany you to Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi. That service can be especially helpful on a first visit or when you're carrying luggage. It also reflects the hotel's small scale: just 57 rooms and suites in Pacific Century Place, about four minutes on foot from the Yaesu South Exit.
The rooms and first-floor lobby reopened on April 29, 2026, following a redesign by André Fu. Warm woods, sliding panels, and custom furniture give the interiors a residential character, while the location keeps Shinkansen departures and central Tokyo shopping close. This is the Marunouchi hotel, distinct from the other Four Seasons address in Otemachi.
Rooms
The Eki and Marunouchi rooms both measure 44 square meters, with a king bed and space for a sofa bed or crib. The main difference is the outlook: Eki rooms face Tokyo Station and Marunouchi, while Marunouchi rooms look toward Sotobori Street and the surrounding district. Both have floor-to-ceiling windows and bathrooms with a bathtub and separate shower.
Ginza rooms increase the space to 52 square meters. The 65-square-meter Corner Ginza Room has two queen beds and a larger layout. The larger layouts are worth considering if you'll be sharing with children or unpacking several suitcases.
Suites separate the bedroom from the living area. The Marunouchi Suite measures 72 square meters, while the One-Bedroom Suite offers 88 square meters. Selected rooms can connect to another room or suite, so discuss the exact arrangement with the hotel if you want children nearby without sharing one sleeping space.
Facilities
The spa has separate men's and women's bathing areas with Japanese-style mineral baths, steam saunas, and jet showers. Massages and facials are available, and the fitness center is open 24 hours. Bath sessions require advance reservations and are limited to 60 minutes, so ask the spa team about a time after checking in.
The multilingual concierge can arrange tours and transport, as well as station assistance. Same-day laundry and dry cleaning help with longer itineraries, while 24-hour in-room dining provides an option after a late arrival. These services can be particularly valuable when Tokyo is one stop on a trip involving several hotel changes.
Dining
Sezanne serves French cuisine and is the more formal of the hotel's restaurants. Maison Marunouchi, a French bistro, provides a more relaxed setting for breakfast or another meal, with views of Tokyo Station and the Shinkansen tracks. The trains are part of the view.
Maison Marunouchi also serves seasonal afternoon tea with sweet and savory dishes. The Bar and Champagne Lounge provides another setting for a drink. You can plan a restaurant meal at the hotel while leaving other evenings open for the surrounding Ginza and Marunouchi dining areas.
Location and transport
The hotel is at the southern end of the Tokyo Station and Marunouchi area, close to the Yaesu South Exit. Despite the Marunouchi name, that exit is the clearest landmark for the short walk to Pacific Century Place.
Tokyo Station provides Shinkansen services for onward travel, JR trains across the city, and the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. The advantage is particularly clear if you're arriving from Kyoto or continuing to another region: no local train transfer is needed between the station and the hotel.
Allow time inside the station. The quoted four-minute walk begins at the exit, and some platforms are much farther away. If you arrange the greeting service, send the hotel your train details and agree on a meeting place. Departure assistance can also be arranged.
Airport access
Narita Express trains run directly from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station.
From Haneda, take the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsucho and transfer to a JR train for Tokyo Station. A taxi or advance-reserved hotel car avoids the rail transfer, though journey time depends on traffic.
Why stay here
Being met on the platform can simplify an arrival more than a short walking distance alone. That assistance is valuable when you're connecting several destinations in Japan. The spacious rooms and restaurants also give you reasons to stay longer than a single night between trains.
Marunouchi Naka-dori has shops, cafes, and outdoor sculptures along its tree-lined street, while the Imperial Palace's outer grounds offer a broader walk west of the station. Ginza adds another nearby shopping district, so days without long-distance trains needn't revolve around the station itself.
Good to know
Spa treatments are scheduled to pause from January 5 to February 5, 2027. The fitness center and Japanese-style baths will remain open during that period.
