About four minutes on foot from Kanazawa Station's Minato Exit, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kanazawa Eki Nishiguchi simplifies Shinkansen arrivals, early departures, and luggage-heavy connections. The Komatsu Airport bus stop is on the same side of the tracks.
Sightseeing requires a little more effort. Kanazawa's loop buses leave from the Kenrokuen Exit side, so trips to Omicho Market, Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa Castle, or Higashi Chaya begin by crossing the concourse. The location favors transport convenience over immersion in the historic neighborhoods.
Rooms
Rooms range from 21-square-meter superior doubles to junior suites of about 50 square meters. Superior twins and deluxe rooms measure 27 square meters, while selected junior suites accommodate up to four guests. There are workable options for couples, solo visitors, and small groups.
Superior and deluxe rooms have semi-separated bath and toilet layouts, while the junior suites separate them fully. That's helpful when two or more guests need to get ready at once. A universal double is also available, but it must be reserved by phone.
Facilities
The facilities are geared toward travel days and longer itineraries. A 24-hour convenience store occupies the first floor, and three self-service coin laundry machines operate around the clock on the eighth floor.
Mechanical parking is available on a first-come basis, subject to vehicle-size limits and restricted operating hours. If you're driving, check the conditions before arrival rather than assuming your car will fit.
Dining
Breakfast is served at Pizzeria e Trattoria Da TAKE on the first floor. Its buffet combines Japanese and Western dishes, including food made with local Kanazawa ingredients, so guests can eat before catching a train, airport bus, or heading out for sightseeing.
The rail complex has a broad choice of shops and restaurants as well. Meals remain easy to arrange after a late arrival or when you don't want to travel into the central sightseeing districts.
Location and transport
The hotel is about four minutes on foot from the Minato Exit of Kanazawa Station. Hokuriku Shinkansen services, regional trains, airport buses, taxis, and local buses all use this rail hub, which makes the Kanazawa Station Area convenient at the beginning or end of a trip.
Which side you use matters. Komatsu Airport buses depart from the West Gate, while the main sightseeing loop buses leave from the Kenrokuen Exit on the east side. You'll need to cross the concourse for those city buses, but the route is straightforward once you know which exit to follow.
Airport access
A direct limousine bus connects Kanazawa Station West Gate with Komatsu Airport. The stop is on the same side of the tracks as the hotel, although the service doesn't run to the hotel door.
Schedules follow flight times and may change. Check the current timetable before an early departure or late arrival, especially when the bus connection affects a reserved train or flight.
Why stay here
Early trains, late arrivals, and flights through Komatsu are easier to handle with the rail hub a short walk away and the airport bus departing from the same side. The varied room sizes, separated bathing areas in many categories, convenience store, and coin laundry add comfort without overshadowing the location advantage.
The concourse and surrounding buildings provide plenty of shopping and dining, while the Motenashi Dome and Tsuzumi-mon Gate are on the opposite side of the station. Kanazawa's castle, gardens, markets, and historic streets remain accessible by loop bus, but they aren't immediately outside the hotel.
Good to know
The hotel isn't directly connected to Kanazawa Station, and the four-minute walk includes an outdoor stretch. It is on the Minato Exit side, not the Kenrokuen Exit side with Tsuzumi-mon Gate and the main sightseeing bus loop.
