Overview
Facing Peace Boulevard, ANA Crowne Plaza Hiroshima is about five minutes from Peace Memorial Park and one minute from Fukuro-machi Station. Downtown restaurants and the Hondori shopping streets are also close to this part of Hiroshima-Peace Boulevard.
The location is the deciding factor. This full-service hotel has 402 rooms, several restaurants, a top-floor club lounge, and high-floor views, but it favors central sightseeing over the shortest possible Shinkansen or airport-bus transfer.
Rooms
All 402 rooms are non-smoking. Standard options range from compact singles and doubles to twin layouts, while Premium rooms add more space and larger bed choices. Junior suites have the broadest layouts, and accessible and connecting rooms are available.
The outlook depends on the floor and direction. Views may take in the city, Hiroshima Castle, EDION Peace Wing, or the Seto Inland Sea. Some larger rooms have separate bath and toilet areas, and selected suites can accommodate families or groups with additional bedding.
Club Floor bookings include access to the top-floor lounge. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails are served with views across Hiroshima and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. It's worth comparing the exact room categories and lounge benefits before booking, since the differences extend beyond bed type.
Facilities
Guests receive complimentary 24-hour access to the on-site Anytime Fitness gym. There is no pool. Wi-Fi, room service, and in-room spa treatments provide additional support for time spent at the hotel.
The paid underground car park holds 80 vehicles. Some spaces have access or size limitations, and reaching the elevator level from the lower parking floor requires using stairs. Drivers with luggage or mobility needs should check the latest parking guidance before arrival.
Dining
Four main restaurants cover buffet, Japanese, Chinese, and teppanyaki dining. All Day Dining Fruitier serves its morning buffet from 6:00 AM, then continues with lunch and dinner. Unkai, Taoli, and Atago offer more formal choices later in the day.
The ground-floor lounge serves light food, afternoon tea, cakes, and evening drinks. Club Floor guests have separate lounge service, while room service operates around the clock. This range lets guests keep meals in the building during a busy day of sightseeing or work.
Location and transport
Route 1 streetcars run directly from Hiroshima Station to Fukuro-machi in about 15 minutes, followed by a one-minute walk. The hotel isn't beside the Shinkansen platforms, so allow time for both the tram ride and the station transfer when arriving with luggage.
City buses provide another direct approach from Hiroshima Station. The left-hand route of the Ekima Chi Loop stops at Shirakami-sha, while other services use the Fukuro-machi bus stop. Both stops are about one minute from the hotel.
Peace Memorial Park lies west along the boulevard. To the north, Fukuromachi has cafes, bars, and restaurants. Hondori and Kamiyacho extend the downtown side, while the Atomic Bomb Dome lies west near Peace Memorial Park.
Airport access
Hiroshima Airport limousine buses use Hiroshima Bus Center rather than the hotel. From the bus center, it's about a 12-minute walk through the central district. The hotel doesn't operate an airport or local shuttle.
A taxi from the bus center may be easier with large luggage or in poor weather. Before departure, check the limousine timetable and allow enough time to walk to the correct bus platform.
Why stay here
A one-minute walk from the tram and a five-minute approach to Peace Memorial Park keep central sightseeing straightforward. The restaurants, club lounge, gym, and room service provide more in-house choice than a compact city hotel, though arrivals from Hiroshima Station require a local transfer and the airport bus uses a separate stop.
Peace Boulevard gives the hotel a greener setting than the denser streets north of the avenue. Guests can walk west toward the park's museum and memorials, then head north into Fukuromachi for cafes, wine bars, and evening dining.
Good to know
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and checkout is by 11:00 AM. All rooms are non-smoking, parking is paid, and there is no swimming pool.
The hotel is very close to Fukuro-machi Station but isn't connected to it. The streetcar platforms and route to Peace Memorial Park are outdoors, which matters in rain or summer heat.
