BOUNCEE by RIHGA Fukuoka Hakata will open on September 1, 2026, in Gionmachi, Hakata Ward. The 11-story, 117-room hotel will be the first property under RIHGA Royal Hotels' BOUNCEE brand and will follow a "HOTEL BAR" concept centered on Hakata's food, drinks, and nightlife.
The room inventory comprises 94 twin rooms measuring 18 square meters, three 27-square-meter twin rooms, 18 double rooms measuring 18 square meters, and two 27-square-meter accessible rooms. Under-bed luggage storage and shower-only bathrooms are used to preserve living space, while bar-inspired lighting and minimal interiors continue the hotel's theme.
The hotel will also have a lobby with sofa and counter seating, a large communal bath with a sauna and cold-water bath, and a coin laundry.
The second-floor Hotaru & Bar will operate from breakfast through late-night bar service. Dinner and bar service will run from 17:00 to 24:00, with last orders at 23:00. The menu will include sesame mackerel, motsunabe, mizutaki, clay-pot rice, and seafood supplied by Nagahama Fish Market. Traditional Japanese alcoholic drinks will feature in the bar's kokushu cocktails and food pairings.
Breakfast will be served from 6:30 to 10:30, with last orders at 10:00. The set meal will include freshly cooked rice, a choice of main dish such as thick-cut salmon, and Hakata accompaniments including takana pickles and mentaiko. Guests can also prepare the rice as ochazuke.
BOUNCEE by RIHGA Fukuoka Hakata will be located at 5-1 Gionmachi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka. It will be a five-minute walk from Exit 5 of Gion Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line, a short walk from Exit 5 of Kushida Shrine Station on the Nanakuma Line, and ten minutes from JR Hakata Station's Hakata Exit. Fukuoka Airport will be approximately 15 minutes away by car.
