This is a functional station-side stay rather than a resort. Its main advantages are the short walk from the platforms, the included breakfast, and substantial parking capacity.

Both parking areas cost 500 yen per night. The multi-level garage accepts vehicles up to two meters high, so drivers with taller vehicles should check their options before arrival.
Dining
A free buffet breakfast is served from 6:30 to 9:00. Having the morning meal covered helps before an early sightseeing loop or a day on the regional rail lines.
Location and transport
The hotel is in the Aizuwakamatsu Station Area. Travel from Tokyo normally requires a change at Koriyama from the Tohoku Shinkansen to the Ban-etsu West Line. By road, the hotel is about ten minutes by car from the Aizuwakamatsu interchange.
The Haikara-san loop starts at the station and serves Nanukamachi, Tsuruga Castle, Higashiyama, and Iimoriyama. The bus ride to Tsurugajo Iriguchi takes about 20 minutes, followed by another five minutes on foot to the castle.
Why stay here
The two-minute walk takes much of the strain out of a late rail arrival, an early departure, or a driving itinerary that begins after reaching Aizuwakamatsu. Breakfast is included, while the 112 parking spaces offer more capacity than a small station-side car park.
Aizuwakamatsu's main sights lie beyond the blocks around the station. Tsuruga Castle anchors the historical center, while Oyakuen, Iimoriyama, Nanukamachi, and Higashiyama Onsen spread a day of sightseeing across the city. The sightseeing loop connects these areas without requiring a change of hotel.
Good to know
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and checkout is at 10:00 AM. Parking can't be reserved and may fill on busy dates, while vehicles taller than two meters can't use the multi-level garage. Reaching the castle and other major sights requires a bus, taxi, bicycle, or car.
