Overview
Richmond Hotel Narita is about five minutes on foot from Keisei Narita Station, close to airport trains and the entrance to Naritasan Omotesando. Narita Station is roughly ten minutes away. This is central Narita rather than the airport itself, so there's time to explore the town before or after a flight.
Omotesando leads through Narita's historic temple district toward Naritasan Shinshoji Temple. Keisei trains keep the airport within easy reach, while the hotel's outbound shuttle covers selected departures.
Rooms
The 205 rooms range from 18-square-meter singles and doubles to twin and multi-bed layouts of up to 30 square meters. Triple and four-bed rooms allow small groups to stay together, while the universal twin has bathroom handrails, a shower chair, and a nonslip mat.
Every room has a large desk. Solo guests and business travelers get a proper work surface, while the larger twin categories provide more room for couples, families, or friends sharing before a flight.
Facilities
Coin laundry on two floors is particularly helpful during longer trips. Self-service check-in and checkout machines, a microwave, vending machines, and ice cover other everyday needs.
The mechanical parking garage has 30 spaces, including 14 for taller vehicles. Reservations aren't accepted, and spaces are assigned in arrival order. Drivers should be ready to use nearby paid parking if the garage is full.
Dining
Restaurant & BAR STELLA serves a buffet breakfast from 6:15 AM, weekday lunch, dinner, and evening room service. Breakfast combines Japanese and Western choices with locally grown rice and a Narita-style eel rice dish.
Dinner continues until late evening, with room service orders accepted until 10:00 PM. Late arrivals therefore have a better chance of eating at the hotel than at places where the kitchen closes shortly after check-in.
Location and transport
Keisei Narita Station is the main rail connection for the airport. Its East Exit is about five minutes from the hotel, and trains continue directly to the airport stations without requiring a return toward central Tokyo. JR Narita Station is about ten minutes away and adds JR Narita Line services.
The location also opens onto central Narita. Naritasan Omotesando begins near the stations and runs toward Shinshoji Temple, so an airport-focused overnight can still include a short look around town.
Airport access
Keisei trains provide the most flexible airport connection. The hotel also operates eight free airport-bound shuttles daily, departing between 6:10 AM and 1:40 PM and stopping at Terminal 2 before Terminal 1. Guests should arrange a seat at check-in.
The shuttle doesn't collect passengers from the airport. It has limited seats and hours and operates only toward the airport, so rail remains essential for arrivals and departures outside its schedule.
Why stay here
Airport trains, breakfast, laundry, and group room options make a first or final night easier, while the one-way shuttle can simplify selected morning and early-afternoon departures. The tradeoff is clear: this is a town location, not a hotel beside the airport terminals.
Naritasan Omotesando extends about 800 meters from the station area toward Shinshoji Temple. More than 150 restaurants and shops line the approach, including businesses known for Narita's freshwater eel dishes, giving a stopover enough substance for both a meal and a walk.
Good to know
Check-in begins at 2:00 PM, and checkout is by 11:00 AM. The first airport shuttle leaves five minutes before breakfast starts, so guests taking it will need another breakfast plan. Both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available; check the room category when booking.
