Location and transport
The hotel is in the Nagasaki Station Area, next to the city's main rail hub. Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen trains run between Nagasaki and Takeo-Onsen; passengers traveling onward toward Hakata change there for a connecting limited express.
The historic districts aren't at the doorstep. Local trams and buses serve most sightseeing trips, including journeys to the waterfront and Peace Park, while Glover Garden is another short trip from the station area.
Airport access
Airport buses connect Nagasaki Airport with the Nagasaki Station area. The hotel doesn't operate an airport shuttle, so the final approach is from the station-side bus stop rather than directly from the airport to the entrance.
Why stay here
An early Shinkansen departure or luggage-heavy arrival is easier with the platforms close by. Rooms are larger than those at many compact station hotels, the views are central to the experience, and on-site dining extends well beyond breakfast. Most historic sights still require a tram or bus ride.
