Overview
Hotel Granbinario Tsuruga is a one-minute walk from Tsuruga Station's West Exit, near the restaurants and bookshop at Tsuruga Polt Square Otta. Breakfast starts at 06:00, early enough to eat before a morning train without searching for an open cafe.

Accord single rooms measure 16.8 square metres, while Business singles provide 19.5 square metres. Both sleep one guest. Comfort twin rooms have two beds in 22.9 square metres, and the Gloria connecting room accommodates three by joining a king-bedded room and a single through an internal door.

Location and transport
The hotel is in the Tsuruga Station Area, on the side facing the city center. Follow signs for the Machinami Exit, which is also called the West Exit. The one-minute walk begins at the exit, so leave additional time to cross the station when catching a train.
Direct Shinkansen trains serve Fukui, Kanazawa, and Tokyo. Thunderbird trains connect Tsuruga with Kyoto and Osaka, while Shirasagi services run to Maibara and Nagoya.
Airport access
From Komatsu Airport, take the bus to Komatsu Station and continue to Tsuruga by Hokuriku Shinkansen. The bus journey takes about 12 minutes, but you'll need additional time for the connection and rail journey.
Why stay here
On an overnight rail stop, you can eat breakfast before leaving and reach the West Exit on foot, without arranging a bus or taxi.
To explore the city, follow the shopping streets toward Kehi Jingu Shrine, about 18 minutes on foot from the station. An 11-metre wooden torii gate marks its entrance. If you have less time before departure, Chienamiki's bookshop and cafe are closer.
