Location and transport
Susukino Station on the Namboku Line is about five minutes away on foot. From there, the subway reaches Sapporo Station in roughly seven minutes, keeping JR services within easy reach while allowing guests to return to Susukino after dinner without another cross-city trip.
Shiseikan-Shogakko-mae on the Sapporo Streetcar is about three minutes away on foot. The streetcar serves places southwest of the central subway grid, while the Namboku Line remains the simplest route to Odori and Sapporo Station.
Airport access
New Chitose Airport has two practical public transport routes from Susukino. The rail option uses the Namboku Line to Sapporo Station, followed by JR's Rapid Airport train. The airport train takes as little as 33 minutes from Sapporo Station, although the full journey requires a transfer.
Airport limousine buses also serve Susukino and avoid the rail transfer. They may be easier with luggage, though road traffic makes journey times less predictable. The hotel doesn't operate an airport shuttle.
Why stay here
It works best as a simple Susukino base, especially for travelers who value included breakfast or need a room for four. JR trains remain a short subway ride away at Sapporo Station, and hotel dining and leisure facilities are limited.
The neighborhood comes into its own after dark. COCONO SUSUKINO brings shops, restaurants, entertainment, and a cinema together at the main intersection, while the covered Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade runs for about one kilometre through downtown. Both make it easy to find dinner or browse shops without planning the evening around another train ride.
