A Marriott Bonvoy stay doesn't have to mean a full-service hotel. Four Points Flex by Sheraton Nagoya Station keeps things simple with compact rooms and straightforward services. Nagoya Station is less than seven minutes away on foot, and the city's main rail connections are close, though the hotel isn't directly connected to the station.

The formula is deliberately simple. There are 210 rooms, a Japanese restaurant serving paid breakfast, and a small set of conveniences for travelers who expect to spend most of the day elsewhere.

Rooms

Published room sizes range from 14 to 25 square meters across double and twin categories, with both smoking and non-smoking options. Check the exact category carefully, especially if two guests will be sharing the room with large luggage.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all 210 rooms. These are compact places to sleep and reset between trains, meetings, or sightseeing, rather than rooms designed around generous living space.

Facilities

Coin-operated laundry is the standout facility for a longer itinerary. Vending, ice, and water dispensers cover simple needs, but there is no large lounge or leisure setup.

Housekeeping is scheduled twice per week. If you're staying several nights, understand that service pattern before arrival rather than expecting the room to be cleaned daily.

Dining

Japanese Dining Kuchiguchi serves a paid Japanese and Western breakfast buffet from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Chicken wings and miso katsu bring recognizable Nagoya flavors to the morning menu.

The restaurant reopens in the evening with local Japanese dishes. As it is a tenant restaurant, Marriott Bonvoy dining benefits don't apply.

Location and transport

Nagoya Station is less than seven minutes away on foot. JR provides Tokaido Shinkansen and regional services, while the subway is the straightforward option for trips toward Fushimi and Sakae. Meitetsu and Kintetsu use separate gates elsewhere in the rail complex, so allow extra walking time when changing operators with luggage.

This is a street-level hotel, not an indoor station connection. Check your route before arrival, particularly if your train uses the opposite side of the complex.

Airport access

Direct Meitetsu trains connect Meitetsu Nagoya with Central Japan International Airport. The fastest Mu-Sky service takes about 28 minutes, and its first-class cars require an additional ticket beyond the regular fare.

The hotel doesn't operate an airport shuttle. The train ride itself is simple, but you'll still need to walk from the hotel to the Meitetsu gates.

Why stay here

An early Shinkansen, a Centrair flight, or a one-night stop is easier when Nagoya's main rail complex is a short walk away. Rail convenience is the main reason to book. Marriott Bonvoy participation and basic services add familiarity.

Rooms are compact, housekeeping is twice weekly, and leisure facilities are limited. The surrounding Nagoya Station Area brings together department stores, indoor shopping, and underground dining around JR Gate Tower, Takashimaya, and KITTE Nagoya. Farther out on this side of the city, Noritake Garden and the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology broaden the sightseeing options.

Good to know

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. There is no on-site parking, so drivers will need to arrange a separate paid lot.
