Overview
Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hiroshima-ekimae is about three minutes on foot from Hiroshima Station's Shinkansen Gate. Airport limousine buses use the same north side of the station, so bullet-train and airport arrivals both end with a short walk.
The hotel occupies the upper floors of Granode Hiroshima, with reception on the 13th floor and breakfast and fitness facilities on the 20th. Regional JR services are close at hand in the Hiroshima Station Area. There is no direct indoor connection from the station.
Rooms
The hotel has 197 rooms. Moderate Doubles measure 21.5 square meters, Deluxe Doubles 28.6 square meters, and twin categories range from 30.2 to 44.5 square meters. Superior and Executive Twins can accommodate a third guest with an extra bed, which gives small groups an alternative to booking two rooms.
Every room has a bath area with washing space beside the tub. The Moderate Double uses a semi-separated layout, while the larger double and twin categories keep the toilet fully separate. That division helps when two or three guests need to get ready at the same time.
Facilities
The 20th-floor fitness room is open from 7:00 to 21:00. Three self-service laundry machines on the 15th floor operate around the clock. Drivers have access to 39 parking spaces on basement level one, allocated without reservations.
Dining
Breakfast is served at Nonobudou on the 20th floor from 7:00 to 10:00, with last entry at 9:30. The Japanese and Western buffet features Hiroshima dishes such as okonomiyaki, along with Onomichi ramen. The upper-floor dining room also looks across the city.
Location and transport
Hiroshima Station handles the Sanyo Shinkansen and regional JR services. The Sanyo Main Line is the usual route toward Miyajimaguchi for Miyajima, while the Kure Line serves Kure and the coast.
Streetcars now enter the station's second floor on the south side. They provide a straightforward ride toward central Hiroshima, but the hotel is on the north side, so allow time to cross the station before boarding. Peace Memorial Park and Hondori aren't in the immediate hotel blocks and normally require a streetcar, bus, or taxi.
Airport access
Hiroshima Airport limousine buses run directly to Hiroshima Station's Shinkansen Gate in about 45 to 50 minutes, depending on traffic. The hotel is approximately three minutes on foot from the stop. The bus doesn't pull up at the hotel entrance.
Why stay here
For itineraries built around Shinkansen journeys, airport-bus arrivals, and JR day trips, the north-side location keeps transfers short. Hiroshima's central shopping and memorial district still requires local transport. The room layouts also support multi-night stays, particularly for couples or small groups who value a separate washing area and on-site laundry.
Ekie inside the station brings together Hiroshima food and souvenirs. Shukkeien is about a ten-minute walk from the station. About five minutes from the South Exit, Ekinishi is a cluster of compact restaurants and bars.
Good to know
The hotel is close to Hiroshima Station but isn't directly connected. From the Shinkansen Gate, follow the pedestrian route toward Granode Hiroshima, then use the dedicated elevators to reach reception on the 13th floor.
Don't confuse it with Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hiroshima near Chuden-mae. That is a separate hotel in the city center, closer to Peace Memorial Park but less convenient for Shinkansen trains and airport buses.
