Overview
Comfort Hotel Narita is about two minutes on foot from the East Exit of Keisei Narita Station and five minutes from the East Exit of JR Narita Station. The hotel is in central Narita, not at the airport. Reaching a flight requires a short train ride, while Omotesando's restaurants and shops and the approach to Naritasan Shinshoji are within walking distance.
The hotel works for a one-night stop before or after a flight, but it can also support a longer Narita stay. Complimentary breakfast, a library cafe, and 24-hour laundry cover everyday needs when you are arriving with luggage or adjusting to a new time zone.
Rooms
All 142 rooms were renovated in March 2025. One-bed rooms use airport and airplane motifs, while the twin rooms draw on colors and details associated with Naritasan Shinshoji. Every room is non-smoking and has a Serta bed, free Wi-Fi, a desk, bedside power, and USB Type-A charging.
Size varies considerably by category. The 13-square-metre Double Economy accounts for most of the rooms. Queen Economy and Twin Economy rooms measure 19 square metres, while the 23-square-metre Twin Standard gives two travelers more floor space. All four categories have unit bathrooms, so guests seeking separate bathing and toilet areas will need to compare other hotels.
Children through elementary-school age can share an existing bed with a parent or grandparent without an additional accommodation charge, subject to the room's stated occupancy rules. Breakfast is included for them as well. Families should compare the two twin categories carefully, since most rooms have one bed.
Facilities
The Comfort Library Cafe is open from 10:00 to midnight. Guests can settle at a table with a book or laptop and help themselves to coffee or tea.
Self-service check-in and check-out machines are available. The hotel also has a 24-hour coin laundry and a foreign-currency exchange machine in the lobby, but no gym, public bath, or airport shuttle.
Dining
A complimentary buffet breakfast is served from 6:00 to 9:00 on weekdays and until 9:30 on weekends and public holidays. Bread and hot dishes are accompanied by salad, fruit, and smoothies, with some items changing by day or season. One local soup features sardine dumplings and stock made with dried sardines from Chiba Prefecture.
The early start accommodates many morning schedules. For a very early flight, however, compare the breakfast hours with your train and airport check-in time. There is no lunch or dinner restaurant, so Omotesando and the streets around the two Narita stations are the nearest alternatives.
Location and transport
Keisei Narita is the closest station and provides the most direct route to the airport. JR Narita is also close enough to use when a trip depends on JR tickets or connections through Chiba and Tokyo. The stations are separate, so check the operator carefully when following hotel directions or searching for a route.
Across the station area, Omotesando runs for about 800 metres toward Naritasan Shinshoji. Restaurants, sweet shops, souvenir stores, and long-established eel restaurants give central Narita an identity beyond its airport role.
Airport access
Keisei Main Line trains take about eight minutes from Keisei Narita to Narita Airport. Use Narita Airport Station for Terminal 1 and Narita Airport Terminal 2-3 Station for Terminals 2 and 3. Allow additional time to walk from the platform to the correct terminal.
Not every airport-bound Keisei service stops at Keisei Narita. Check the Main Line timetable rather than assuming that the Skyliner or Access Express can be boarded there.
The hotel does not operate an airport shuttle. Travelers who want a bus from the hotel door, or who have an exceptionally early departure, should compare airport-side hotels before booking.
Why stay here
Direct airport trains and breakfast included make a flight-day stay easier to plan, while the central Narita location leaves time for dinner or a short temple-town visit. The hotel makes the most sense when the train journey to the terminals fits comfortably into the schedule.
Good to know
There is no on-site parking. One overnight voucher per room is available for a nearby partner garage from 15:00 to 10:00, subject to vehicle limits, available space, and the hotel's current conditions. Extra time or repeated entries may incur charges.
