Overview
A covered bridge from Okayama Station's West Exit leads directly to ANA Crowne Plaza Okayama, easing arrivals with luggage or in wet weather. The Shinkansen gates and West Exit bus stops are a short walk away, while the adjoining Okayama Convention Center forms part of the same complex.
This is a full-service city hotel, but the location beside the rail hub is its defining advantage. Early trains, late arrivals, and itineraries involving several rail journeys from Okayama are all easier to manage here.

Standard rooms range from 18 to 22 square meters, while Premium rooms offer 25 to 28 square meters with twin or king beds. For substantially more space, the Junior Suite measures 66 square meters and the Presidential Suite 90 square meters.
Large windows overlook Okayama, and some rooms face the tracks, where trains pass throughout the day. Desks and high-speed Wi-Fi support work between outings. Connecting and accessible rooms are available, though guests who need a particular layout should confirm it when booking.
Facilities
Room service, laundry support, meeting rooms, and a 24-hour business center give the hotel more depth than simpler nearby accommodation. These services are especially helpful during a multi-night visit or work trip.

Dining
Urbano on the first floor serves casual meals. On the 20th floor, guests can choose Japanese dining, a teppanyaki counter, or a bar and lounge with broad city views. Dinner or a late drink doesn't require another trip after check-in.
Breakfast is served on the 20th floor from 6:30 to 10:30. The Japanese and Western buffet features live-kitchen rice balls, omelets made with Okayama eggs, and Kasaoka ramen alongside more familiar choices.
Location and transport
The hotel stands beside the West Exit in the Okayama Station Area. Its bridge provides a sheltered connection to the station rather than direct platform access, so allow a few minutes to reach the Shinkansen or conventional JR gates.
Local trains place Kurashiki within easy reach. The Marine Liner runs south to Takamatsu, while Limited Express Yakumo services travel north toward Yonago, Matsue, and Izumo. These routes support both regional day trips and overnight stops on longer rail itineraries.
Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden are on the east side of the rail hub, not immediately outside the hotel. Tram, bus, and taxi connections depart from the city-center side of the station, or you can make the longer journey on foot.
Airport access
Buses between Okayama Station's West Exit and Okayama Momotaro Airport take about 30 minutes. They depart from stop 21 on the hotel side of the station, sparing travelers with luggage from crossing the full concourse.
The bus doesn't stop at the hotel entrance. Check the current timetable against your flight and allow time for the short walk from the lobby.
Why stay here
With luggage in tow, the covered bridge can be decisive. Once checked in, guests have the Shinkansen, regional trains, and airport buses nearby, along with enough dining and room choice for a comfortable multi-night stay.
The tradeoff is distance from Okayama's principal historic sights. The west side favors transport convenience and regional travel, while a stay farther east brings the castle, garden, and central shopping streets closer to the door.
Good to know
Guest-room renovation is scheduled on floors 9 through 18 from January through the end of August 2027, with possible noise and vibration between 10:00 and 17:30. The hotel also plans to make all guest rooms non-smoking from February 2027.
