Niseko Village

Overview

Niseko Village occupies the lower slopes of Niseko Annupuri in Higashiyama, outside Niseko's town center. Hotels, ski lifts, and restaurants are grouped within the resort. Reaching the railway station still requires a road journey.

Main places

Niseko-yo has restaurants and shops near the resort hotels. Ramen and grilled-meat dinners are available, although some venues close outside winter. Check opening days before a summer stay.

Pure is the resort's summer activity area, with tree trekking and zipline experiences. Golf offers another outdoor option when the ski slopes are closed.

Moxy Niseko Village is beside the gondola and provides ski-in/ski-out access in winter. Its bar doubles as the check-in desk.

Stations and access

Niseko Station is down in town, with taxis available for the trip to the resort. Kutchan Station is another rail option. Neither is within Niseko Village.

Coaches operate from New Chitose Airport during the summer and winter seasons. Stops vary by service, so book for the accommodation you're using and confirm the final transfer if it isn't a listed stop.

Where it fits in a trip

Stay here when several days of skiing or resort activities matter more than walking to trains. Summer activities and winter lifts follow different operating seasons, so don't assume everything opens on the same dates.
