Overview
VIA INN SHIN-OSAKA is located in the Shin-Osaka Station Area at 1-1-7 Nishiawaji, Higashiyodogawa-ku, Osaka. The hotel is about three minutes on foot from JR Shin-Osaka Station and about seven minutes from Shin-Osaka Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, making it practical for Shinkansen arrivals, subway access, and airport rail access.
Rooms
Rooms include Via Inn Single, Single, Studio Single, and Twin types. The renovated rooms are designed for business and leisure stays, with Serta mattresses or Via Inn original pillows, desk space, power outlets, Wi-Fi, humidifying air purifiers, bedside power, refrigerators, electric kettles, and prefabricated baths. The Studio Single adds a projector and screen, while the Twin works better for two guests than the single-room layouts.
Facilities
The hotel has a 24-hour staffed reception and automatic late-night entrance locks. Practical facilities include a drum-type washer-dryer on the 8th floor, vending machines, ice machines, a microwave in the lobby, trouser presses, courier service, charged cleaning service, and a smoking area on the 1st floor. The hotel parking lot has two paid first-come, first-served spaces, with nearby paid parking suggested when it is full.
Dining
Breakfast is a paid Japanese buffet on the 1st floor, centered on rice balls, pork miso soup, obanzai, coffee, and pudding. Service runs from 6:30 to 10:00, with last entry at 9:30.
Location and transport
The East Exit side is quieter than Umeda or Namba, but the transport position is strong. Shin-Osaka Station handles Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen services, JR conventional-line travel, and Midosuji Line subway access. Kansai International Airport is reachable by JR Airport Express Haruka to Shin-Osaka, while Osaka Itami Airport buses serve the Shin-Osaka station area.
Why stay here
Choose VIA INN SHIN-OSAKA when Shinkansen timing, airport rail access, laundry, breakfast, or a quieter station-side hotel matters more than nightlife outside the door. Choose Osaka-Umeda or Osaka-Namba instead when restaurants, shopping, and late-evening entertainment are the main reasons for staying in Osaka.
